Over the last six months, our dog, Cashew, has been in the care of HRM Camp Bow Wow for seven weeks. We can only recommend these wonderful people for their love of animals and their genuine concern over animal's welfare. Our eight-year old mixed dog was abandoned when she was a puppy. We got her when she was four months and she grew up to be a great loving dog, although she is still shy with people she doesn't know. The staff at Camp Bow Wow adopted her from the first day and it's amazing to watch her seek a pat from one of her caretakers on the webcam, especially when you're very far away and would want to give her a hug.

We are just returning from a three-week trip. While we were gone, there was an issue with Cashew's paws. Immediately, the owners took her to the vet where she received adequate care and medication. We went to get her last evening and brought home a healthy, playful, pampered (and tired) dog. Our warmest thanks to the whole team. Well done!

These guys and gals are fantastic!
I have a high energy dog, who also comes along with a not so great start in life.  Because of this she was terrified of just about everything: people and other dogs.  Slowly but surely we're making progress with her, but the gang at Camp Bow Wow were amazing with her.  They took things slowly with her, kept me informed as to what they were doing and why.  At the end of her first day they loved her, and she loved them!  She even made some puppy friends!  They answered all my questions without making me feel like an idiot or like I'm paranoid.
I really like that they have cameras you can view online so you can check in on  your furry pal.
Today was only her second day since her first visit a week ago.  Even after a week and only one visit they remembered her by name.
This place is a great way to socialize your dog, under their watchful eye,  and get them some exercise.  My girl has come home tuckered out each time and is pretty mellow for a day or two.

If you're hesitant about leaving your dog with strangers, don't.  These guys know their stuff and are fantastic with the dogs.
Two big thumbs up from me!

My dog loves camp! He gives two paws up! We take him there to tire him out & when he comes home he sleeps all night &half the next day, he plays so hard. He gets verry well socialized &we can watch him on the cam any time. It's awesome!

Camp Bow Wow has been a saviour for us. Trying to go away and feeling guilty of leaving the dog home to long or tyring to get someone trust worthy to look after your dog is a chore as well stressful.

Well this is the answer trust me. We took the Murphy here when we went to California and at first he was a bit sketchy but once he was there he did not want to leave. It is a daycare for dog's the whole concept. Walking in it looks like the inside of a log cabin and you hang our leash in the spot with your dogs name etched in chalk.

They have two large rooms for the dogs to socialize as well as an outdoor area for play time. Inside in a separate room there are large kennels and each dog has his own sleep space.

Prices are really reasonable as it is $25 for the day or $35 for the night and if you stay a full week they bath them before he comes home.

Now when we take Murphy we just tell him to go get John and off he goes right to the door, so cute. This place is a live saver and a nice way to enjoy your vacation knowing someone is with your dog..

EXCELLENT place to take your dog!  They have webcams so you can actually watch them "playing" - which is usually following each other and/or the humans around all day long, but our dog is happy and VERY tired at the end of a day here.  We boarded him here for over a week once when we were out of town, and he had a great time.  The staff are all excellent and concerned about your dog, too.  Highly recommended!
