I attended an event here today and was very impressed with this space.  The gallery was beautiful, the fireplace was inviting, the food being catered in-house was beautifully displayed, generous and delicious...especially the chocolate brownies.

There was a fruit, dessert and cheese and cracker platter, all artfully placed and plentiful in variety and quantity.  I highly recommend this place for organizing group events or screenings.  I would definitely come back.

Was here for a company "all hands" a few weeks ago....the place is small - very cozy.

We were the only ones there, and our company is not big by any means and it was packed.  The screening room is very cool - I'd love to go for an actual movie and not for a company presentation.

We had an anti-pasta as a munchie meal - it was ok....nothing amazing or to write home about.  The bar is tiny and the building is cool.

As for the bathroom - not impressed.  They are in the basement and smell like mould.  I almost puked from the smell.

    For a hipster location - I wasn't impressed, but then again - I'm not a hipster.

At first glance, I thought this joint was just an upscale drinking hole, but passed by to discover it's also a gallery and houses a screening room in the back. FREE (!!!) Saturday indie and arthouse movies? Great photography on the walls? Count me in.

Recently, I snuck in last minute on a rainy day, and there were only nine other people in attendance, 50% of whom were there solo. As for the screening room size -- sure, it only seats 50 people, but luckily, most films are repeated for three weeks. There are ways to see your film if you get blocked out the first week.

But beware: it looks super, super snobby, and well... it kind of is. Atom Egoyan and his gang back this venture, so it attracts a lot of lip-wagging industry types in heels and black turtlenecks. Take it with a grain of salt, and If the movie is dull, at least you can look forward to the rambling pretentious commentary after it's done. It's like your own personal DVD, IRL!
