Review from Geneviève A.

Camellia Sinensis is the first tea shop I ever went to and is still one of my favorites. I love the sweet tea smell that fills the store, though I'm pretty sure it lures me into buying something before I can even think of leaving.
I find it amazing that they send their own team of tea-tasters to Asia to visit gardens and meet the growers to pick the teas that the store will carry (dream job, yes?)
One side of the store has tons of big tins containing their tea selection. You can browse the catalog to pick a tea or ask the staff for recommendations. Either way, they'll be more than happy to let you smell the teas you might be interested in buying. The wall on the right-hand side is dedicated to tea accessories: tea pots in different materials, cups, tea ceremony tools, tins, books, etc. The prices are not outrageous, but this is not my go-to place for cheap tea items. However, and this is especially true for tea pots and cups, everything is so beautiful and of high quality that the prices are understandable. The actual tea is sold by weight and is very reasonably priced.
They have iced tea to go, but I haven't tried it yet (just a matter of time). Really a great place for tea lovers.Listed in: Tea!
