If I want good Chinese takeout for lunch on a week day, this is where I go - a popular choice in the Royal Centre food court for downtown workers in the Royal Centre / Bentall Centre area. In addition to the typical selections found in most North American food courts behind the glass counter, they also offer the more authentic selections you can find in wonton restaurants e.g. rice or noodle with beef briskets, noodle soup with fish balls, etc. Their prices are also relatively cheaper than other comparable fast food places in neighbouring food courts.

I always get the same thing here - BBQ pork in won ton soup. Sometimes it is really good, other times just ok. The portion is a decent size with lots of won tons, veggies and pork. On the days that it's just ok, the pork is sometimes dry, the won ton noodles a little overcooked and/or the broth isn't hot enough.
On the days that it's really good, the broth is flavourful and hot, the pork nicely cooked and the serving of veggies is in proportion to the other ingredients. The prices have increased a bit since I first started eating here, but still fair in relation to the amount of food you get and also comparable to the other places in the food court.
I can't comment on the taste or quality of their 'buffet' items, but whenever I've been there, the food looks really good and there is always a line up.
I will continue going back.
