What a terrific German pastry shop this place is. I've tried the dark chocolate mousse cake (death by chocolate they call it), Truffle Torte, and several types of cookies (on special occasions, they'll have Christmas, Halloween, Easter, or Valentine's Day treats) and all were first rate. I appreciate how their sweets aren't too sweet but they instead emphasize richness and great textures. A little gem of place for sure.

This place takes the cake....for BAD customer service and poor quality.Unfortunately this business falls far below expectations. In spite of the beautiful cake displays and promises of delicious cake, the reality I experienced was incredibly disappointing. I inquired about ordering my wedding cake here but I was unable to provoke any response whatsoever. I ended up going with another baker, and she was fabulous (A Piece of Cake owned by Glenda) and she was an absolute dream to work with. She was able to communicate everything by email, which was a real lifesaver! CW needs admin support.
Anyways, the experience that sealed the deal was my sister's birthday, where she paid out quite a lot for a Mochachino cake that was really terrible. As strange as it sounds, the cake managed to be throat-chokingly dry in spite of slimy layers of oily frosting. I love cake and my standards are not really that high! I even enjoy the odd sheet cake from Costco, but this was gross. I felt badly for my sister and the poor service she received.
