We drove around looking for coffee on a morning where electricity was out almost everywhere in town from the previous nights storm. Luckily, Caffe Vincente was open and running with a limited menu thanks to their trusty generator. Most importantly, the espresso machine was a go!!!
The people working here are laid back and a little slow. But if you're in Tofino, it's probably to chill out a bit so might I suggest you place your order and just relax. It's seriously not a big deal. Plus the coffee is excellent and i LOVE the added stir stick touch (just check them out when you go...i don't want to ruin the surprise!).
Only thing I ate was a granola parfait and it was delicious! I have no idea where they got those strawberries from cause even the ones in Vancouver this time of year are not that sweet and delicious. Maybe i was just hungry...
Regardless, this is a great spot to curl up in one of the sofas, check your email or chat up the locals (please do, they are awesome people).
And soon, they'll be serving Tofino Coffee roasted right in Tofino!! Be sure to ask for it. -

We ate breakfast at Caffe Vincente. It was ok. We had Belgian waffle and the South Beach plate. This was a low carb option, with eggs on cheese on thin ham slice. It would've been better with a nice thick ham steak and fruit cup. The concept was a bit better than the execution.
Coffee was good. -

Delicious, strong Americanos. Didn't stay for breakfast, but it looked fantastic, never made it back unfortunately.

Free wifi, and Yelp breakfast special, perfect way to start a day in beautiful Tofino!
Plus it's right by the visitors centre so we had breakfast here while we waited for the visitors centre to open then headed next door to plan our day.
I also had a delicious pain au chocolat, yum! -

DELICIOUS!
the service here is really friendly, love love loved it :)
My boyfriend and I went there for lunch twice in our 3 day trip ha.
I ordered the chilly con carne, it was really tasty! all I needed after my morning surf at chesterman beach.
My boyfriend had the ciabatta sandwich. It came with a small fruit salad on the side. he said it was very good i did not try it but it looked amazing.
I also had a latte :) very good too.
I will highly recommend you to go here and eat.
A MUST WHILE YOU ARE IN TOFINO.

One of the only places for breakfast around the area. It's cozy and filled with visitors and locals alike. Can't remember what I ate but I don't have a bad memory of it. The atmosphere was nice, would come back next time I'm in Tofino.

Nice staff. Very friendly people. Not the best for lunch. They have a small menu and today three items were not available thus limiting our choices. The veggie curry was OK but the sandwich was overloaded with mayonnaise. Also the tables were dirty and we had to clean off our own silverware. Nice but I would not go back.

Only had the coffee on a cold rainy day. Great staff. Nicely flavored coffee. Had the mocha and a chai latte. Delicious. Will have to return for the chili which I hear is great.
