What can I say, I have never not had a great Americano.... I also love their Vancouver and West Vancouver shops. Ask for a pattern on your latte!
We live in Victoria and are well travelled. There are a couple of other great places for coffee in town but this review is about them. -

When I'm in Victoria or Vancouver, a trip to Artigiano is a must. Once you taste the espresso you'll know. Like the first time you tasted good Italian pasta and realized everything you'd eaten before was chef boyardee. This coffee will become the standard by which all coffee should be judged.

I'm not really a coffee drinker, but a lot of my friends are and they give this place the thumbs-up. I steal sips of coffee when we go to different places and I like the taste of the coffee here the best. They don't have much other drink selections, but I like their chai latte. They do latte art, which is cute!
They have a good location on the government street strip, but they seem to close really early so I could never go here to meet up with friends after dinner or something. -

Despite Artigiano's lack of non coffee beverages I will say they do make a mighty fine Chai Latte. I am also a huge fan of any coffee shop willing to bring snacks and coffee to the masses. I loved that they set up a little table with Joe to go during Victoria;s Santa Parade, This may not be my first choice for a hot beverage on a cold night, but I do love their methods.
