Review from Sam W.
This place was the first dining experience I had in Quebec City! My girlfriend and I stayed nearby and walked Avenue Cartier (calling Cartier Street from this point) and since there were good reviews on other websites about this restaurant, we decided to give it a shot and we were glad we did!
This place speaks pretty much all French. The bread that came out was delicious. Warm and the butter was room temperature (not like the hard, just came out of the refrigerator kind). Luckily for us, the menu was in French and English so we just pointed at the dishes we want. I got the Salmon tartare.
The atmosphere of this place is very nice. It was snowing when we were there so after a freezing walked along Cartier St., it was nice to walk into a warm cozy restaurant. The restaurant is dimly lit after sunset and creates a romantic atmosphere. This is Quebec after all!
When the salmon tartare came, I didn't realize it was raw salmon shaped into a hockey puck (I was in Canada, okay? It's shaped like a puck). This was the best meal I had in my Quebec trip! How does salmon tartare taste like? The closest thing I can describe it is: it's like the Poki Bowl at Tommy's Sushi in Tustin.
The salmon tartare is really to die for! I would definitely come back to this place..
