Amazing coffee, service, baking and atmosphere.
We have found two other coffee roasters/bars in the Kitchener area with fresh roasted coffee of similar excellent quality, but not with equivalent atmosphere or baking. The quality of coffee from bars that do not have an onsite or at least local roaster is not even in the same ball park. The choice of four single origin brewed coffees is also the most I have seen. Other roasters may offer four or five choices but never more than three are single origin. I very much enjoyed the brief wait while the medium roasted Java beans for my coffee were being ground and then immediately transferred to the brewer. The roaster which is used several times each week is located two metres away. Coffee does not get any fresher.
Two walls of windows, comfortable chairs and a knowledgeable, friendly staff that made us feel at home on our second visit all contributed to us looking forward to our next. -

Great espresso! They actually pull shots on a real semi-auto espresso machine (unlike starbucks), so it requires skill to make a drink. I was very impressed with my americano.
The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and it was a great place to spend a few hours working on my laptop.
Bonus is that there is free Wi-fi (ask for the password) but the downfall is there are only two receptacles to plug into. They were kind and accomodating enough to move some furniture for me to access a top-secret hidden plug though.
Not sure if they actually roast their own beans (yet). I read an article that they were planning to roast in the future, but not sure if it's happening yet. Either way, above-average coffee in Waterloo Region. -

Brand new business...family owned, great atmosphere. The cappuccino and sandwich were excellent! WI-FI too.
