Review from Hana S.
If you are looking for homemade Serbian food in Niagara, this is the place.
We were served family style by the chef/owner himself, and his offerings included a garden salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, porchini peppers, and red onions, tossed with an oil vinaigrette sauce. Very. Refreshing. Next we got fresh baked bread with a platter of homemade veal and lamb sausage, along with veal, chicken and sauteed mushrooms. Over this savory dish was a creamy sauce reminiscent of beef stroganoff. Before the meal we had the traditional Serbian brandy served in little glasses (to stimulate the appetite, according to our host).
The atmosphere is cantina/ bar-like, but that didn't bother me because the food was fabulous.
Overall, its a hole in wall, yet friendly place that serves Serbian comfort food.
