4.5 stars!
Cafe Chic is probably my favourite hookah place in the Toronto area. It's a place that has the neighbourhood hangout feel, but also tries to keep it fresh and exciting with a changing menu, specials, and events.
The place is run by a very nice young couple whose energy and enthusiasm can be felt in everything from the chic decor to the hookahs they serve! It's the kind of place where you'll feel recognized and appreciated after a few visits, making it a great candidate for a neighbourhood night!
In terms of the offerings, I like the fact that they serve hookahs with different bases (e.g. milk which makes the smoke more dense), and even though I'm not much of a smoker, I'd say these guys make the best hookah I've tried other than Horus B in NYC!
Food-wise Chic has pretty decent paninis, and desserts, but I personally go for the drinks, company and sometimes smokes! The martinis I've tried here have been pretty solid and not shy on the alcohol! The only shortcoming is with regards to the beer choices which are a bit standard/bland. I guess you wouldn't expect a German tap at a local hookah bar, but a few more hoppy options would probably hit the spot!
Another factor to consider about Chic is that the specials also actually make a difference! I've personally enjoyed$3 beer Tuesdays and the Hookah/tea special available Monday nights, as well as the popular Martini Thursdays! I've also been pleasantly surprised to walk in on other special events, such as live DJ and poker nights. The music they play is usually some form of electro or pop that fits the mood of the night.
They also have an X-box or PS system (not sure which), but I'm not quite sure what games are available other than Pro Evolution Soccer!
Overall a fresh option if you live in the area, and worth checking out if you're passing by. -

The shisha was O.K but not the best. However, the deserts and drink menu were interesting and worth a try. In a very shady location with limited parking. Atmosphere was average compared to other places. music was too loud, and it was very difficult to have a normal conversation. Very overpriced, and not much value.
Overall, you will have a far better experience at other cafes, and your dollar will be better spent.
Skip this place if you can. -

I would give this place a 3.5..
It had great shisha options and drink options and friendly staff. It's pretty small inside, so it's a great place to go with a couple friends.
My biggest complaint was about an hour into getting there on a friday night, they dimmed the lights and pumped music, complete with lights you would think belong at a huge club. It make it completely impossible for my friends and I to talk (or yell). Before that though, we were having a great time.
I would recommend this place, but be weary of the time you go at. Overall, it was a great time and it's worth going to try out their shisha. -

I just went to Cafe Chic couple of days ago and had an amazing time. Unlike other shisha places, they have a variety of great cocktails, appetizers and deserts and their Shisha is just amazing.
They serve their Shishas over milk or juice or red bull which is even more amazing. I highly recommend the place for anyone who wants to have a great time with friends...
