Review from Purdy J.
Yay! So happy to get a chance to visit cafe bliss again. It is my Victoria staple!
-The cherry chocolate fudge a.k.a. breakfast brownie is the best! Better than the goji berry chocolate fudge. It is a must have for me.
-Creamy greens smoothie: Sooo incredibly delicious and jammed packed with power foods... I love that it tastes so f$&#ing good with 0 guilt, and is 100% good for you.
-The macrobiotic bowl ($10/$15 small/large)is the perfect meal... Full of warm cooked quinoa, seaweed, kale, veggies, sprouts, sauerkraut, almonds, a side of delicious honey flax sauce and a multi-seed cracker. It is incredibly filling, flavourful and so yummy. I don't like sauerkraut and I didn't even really notice it at all.
-longevity latte: very creamy, and nutty with a nice midly sweet finish and no overpowering flavours.
-Strawberry Kombucha Gingerale-kombucha, apple, strawberry, ginger: very light and fresh, not as carbonated as I thought it wound be.
I went a little crazy and came here a few times during my visit in Victoria. Cafe Bliss is a sure thing. It's good, whole foods, how can I say no?Listed in: Vegan & Vegetarian Friendly

Review from Dena R.
I loved Cafe Bliss, a raw/vegan bar where I ordered 2 smoothies/day (carrot/matcha/banana/parsley/ginger/avocado). I loved the heat from the ginger. Plus they pack their to-go orders in a nifty reusable jar (extra charge). I've used that jar for transporting smoothies on other trips.
Only I felt overcharged for the side order of dates. Even so, I was glad to find a place that I could eat and not worry about what was in the food. I finally found a place that made my orders... to order. In addition, every smoothie bar I visited in Canada did not add sugar to their drinks, and for the most part no one looked at me quizzically when I asked for an avocado in my smoothie. -

Visiting a friend in Victoria, she comes to bliss regularly. Enjoyed fully loaded, all kinds of seeds cookie and vegy juice drink.. Prices high but quality of food is good. Have enjoyed the macaroon cookies too. Yum. Staff friendly, helpful.

Came in while waiting for a table at Mole. The boy was so hungry I thought he was going to have a breakdown. The staff was super helpful and informative. We haven't been eating sugar so we were stoked the cookies were made with banana puree and other goodness! We got 2- 8oz juices and a cookie to tide us over. Our total was over $15 which was more than I had expected! Good tho! The next day we went back for another cookie. Hey, we were on vacation! Granola is great too.

Cafe Bliss is excellent! When I'm on Vancouver Island and need an organic, raw food, vegan fix I will be heading straight to Cafe Bliss.
Thankfully I found Cafe Bliss as I was walking the streets in the early evening during my first couple of days on the island. It seemed like everything was closed, and I was craving something healthy. When I walked through the door I knew I'd found heaven. The staff are friendly and awesome. They are passionate about creating healthy food for people. That first visit I had the Cacao Jedi smoothie. It was heavenly. I had a delightful buzz that fueled me onto a creative photography mission for the rest of the night. It was a blast.
I returned a week later. This time having the Superfood Green smoothie. Again it was awesome. My body felt like it had been given a high octane fuel. I highly recommend heading over to Cafe Bliss for all your healthy meals when in Victoria. -

I love Cafe Bliss. It has a perfect combination of lovely gluten free- vegan treats and lovely lunch and snack options.
Today I had the Mint Matcha choclate squares and my friend had the mango coconut bliss ball. The matcha chocolate square was a perfect mix of dark chocolate with the soft minty matcha.
The mango coconut bliss bar I find to be a bit heavy, but I love them anyway. Great snack if you're a bit hungry, very filling.
In the past, I have enjoyed their smoothies and more.
I highly recommend this as a must go to if you are visiting and wanting to enjoy fresh, fun gluten-free vegan treats! -

This is an EXCELLENT vegan deli and juice bar. I especially loved the guacamole salad, which was HUGE and full of awesomeness. Salads are served with a side of multiseed crackers.
The fresh juices and smoothies are wonderful and if you're in a hurry, you can get one to go....in a Mason jar! There's an extra charge for to-go jars, but you can get a refund if you bring it back later. Or just keep the jar (which is what I did because I love using Mason jars as drink glasses and they have the ones with pretty glass).

Although pricey, their ingredients are fresh and the finished products are really tasty! I highly recommend anything except their smoothies, for whatever reason I find them a bit bland. However, their mylkshakes more than make up for the disappointing smoothies, tastes delicious!! If you're needing a healthy and tasty meal, this is the place.

I love fueling my body with nutritionally dense food, so Bliss is a great place to do that. Their focus is fresh, raw, vegan, organic food. The cracker plates and salads always rock, and you have to try their "pizza". The Mylk shakes are a must for sunny weather. My lunch of a huge salad and mylk shake were $25 with tip - so not cheap, but such a lovely treat to my cells.
I also like how the to-go cups are glass, and you pay a deposit that you can get back when you return them. I wish more restaurants thought about their environmental impact.
