Review from Mariana R.
This restaurant is good for Breakfast or Lunch. My omelette was good, and the natural juices are Delicious. It is a little pricy, but the quality is good...

Was looking for a quick decent meal after arriving in Quebec City.
After walking by numerous Pizza and Pasta places tying to find a reasonably priced lunch we decided upon this place. For a French city there is a LOT of Italian food.
My Kid got a pepperoni pizza. The sauce was excellent, but the pizza was not cooked enough. In addition we ordered a 10" and they brought us a 6" so they gave us another 6" and cooked this one even less.
My wife ordered the Quiche Lorraine it was a tiny piece of Quiche served with French fries. Not very filling, but it was only 8.95 - very cheap for Quebec City.
I had an order of Escargot and they were very good, but the bread that came with it was not very fresh.
Once you soaked it in the garlic and butter it was OK.
For my meal I ordered the Veal and mushroom sauce, the mushroom sauce was excellent and the veal was OK. It was also served with French fries??? I would expect mashed potatoes.
The veal was 15.95 and the Escargot was 6.95. I think 15.95 for veal with French fries is a bit much at lunch time.
I also got a glass of Merlot. It was listed at 7.95, but I was charged 8.95. Hmmmm.
Also keep in mind there is about 12.5% tax on meals in Quebec City. So a quick lunch is about $70 by the time you are done. Somewhat expensive by Boston standards.
BTW: After reading reviews of this plce on other site I would say avoid it. -

Good breakfast/lunch joint with affordable prices as everything in Quebec is super expensive! This is a good place to sit and grab a bit to eat before heading on the trek to the Citadel. L 'Omelette is just another quaint little spot along the rue Saint Louis. Try to snag a seat by the window...it's always great to people watch.
