Always heard about this place and never went.  Recently, I met friends for St. Patrick's Day and fell in love with the green margarita.  YUM!!  That coming from not a big rita person.

Pros:  Food tast fresh and very tasting, free and ample parking, and decor
    Cons: Prices.

Gave 4 stars for the food.

I usually love Cadillac Bar for Sunday Brunch however I was quite disappointed with the service on Mother's Day.

I called and made reservation for a party of 15 and had no problems. When I'd arrived, I went up to the hostess stand and the guy whom I think was a manager didn't even bother to look up to greet me. Instead he had his head buried down. The polite thing to do was to acknowledge that I was there and to asked me to hang on for a minute. Nope not a peep. Finally someone came up and greeted me. I had half of me party there and my table wasn't ready.

The rest of my party showed up about 5 minutes later and I went to let the hostess stand know that my whole party of was here. He told me that half of my tables were set up and they are just waiting for the other table to get up so we can get seated. after waiting around another 20 minutes for our table they finally got the tables cleaned up to set up. Next thing I know, the manager had giving our table away to another group. I asked him what was going on and he proceeded to tell me that since my whole party wasn't present he pulled the tables to seat other guests. I was infuriated because I had reservations at 1 and everyone showed up on time and I let someone know. I did my part and Cadillac Bar's hostess stand completely fail on their part.

The manager was rude and did not acknowledge that they were wrong. In fact once we were seated 40 minutes after our reservation, he did not once come by to apologies about the mixed up. I've worked in the restaurant business and am fairly understanding of situations, but I also know that it is in the best for the business to make sure that their customers leave happy.

The service was incredibly slow to get drinks and they had one extra craving station which I don't think our party used at all. The buffet was $8 more then usually and was not worth it. The food was great as always however. It's a shame that the food is good but the service and management lacks.

It was unacceptable that we waited that long and got treated like that. Plus we had two babies which I was concern about having to wait around for a long time. During peak times, Cadillac Bar needs to learn to be able to handle the stress and crowd.

I drive by this place all of the time yet it's kind of off my radar. When I think Mexican food, Cadillac wasn't a place that came to mind.

After my dinner on Sunday, Cadillac is on my radar and we will be back soon!

We came here on a Sunday night around 8 pm. There weren't many other diners, so we were seated immediately. We were served chips and salsa and both ordered a house margarita. The chips and salsa were very above average. The red salsa was warm and spicy, the green was cold and creamy.

After reviewing the menu I decided to get one of my standard Tex-Mex combo dishes consisting of a cheese enchilada, tamale, and beef fajita taco. My dining companion ordered the miscellaneous enchilada trio. We both LOVED our meal! They make an amazing cheese enchilada, and I am very particular about my cheese enchiladas. This is now my favorite place to get them inside the loop.

We mentioned to our waiter how delicious our food was and how we are soon to become regulars.  At that point he offered us a round of margaritas on the house! It's always reassuring to have the staff as excited about new diners as we were excited about our great meal.

    Can't wait to go back!

Great brunch buffet for decent price.
we're landry's select members but that doesnt mean we like all the landry's restaurants, but this is one of my favs.
Food isn't exceptional, but its tasty! mimosas are good, so are the margaritas, we've been here for mostly brunch but stopped by randomly for dinner one week night, it was pretty good as well, not as good as some mexican food places but i'd definitely stop by again if we're in the area!

My kids took me here for the mothers day brunch. What a selection if delicious food and great service. It was packed but the service was still fabulous. They had over 60 menu items on their brunch buffett. They kept adding tables to accommodate the customers, we sat on the patio which was great. I would definitely eat here again.

Went here for dinner with a group of co-workers.  They keep the drinks coming and the chip basket full the entire night.  We tried to chip dip appetizer and it wasn't very impressive.  The Guac was okay but didn't taste very fresh... however, their green salsa was amazing!!!  Otherwise, nothing to write home about... meal was reasonably priced, hot, and tasted good.

Living under a rock for who knows how long, I didn't realize that this place was taken over by Landry's at some point. . . .which means. . . it's not the dump I was hoping to eat at. Its pristine, flawlessly decorated interiors really deflated my spirit.

My enchilada lunch was really good, but really. . . this place is just overpriced Tex Mex food. I'm not a fan of overpriced Tex Mex food . . . or if I'm really feeling it--I'd be more inclined to go to Cyclone Anaya's just down the street before going here again, despite its cool name.

I don't get why there are so many low ratings?

This is by far the best brunch buffet in all of Houston.  It's a decent price for all you can eat.  They have the biggest buffet around, which almost stretches 2 and a half rooms.  The main room has ribs, meats, etc, but mainly all the taco meat you could ever want, fajita chicken, beef or el pastor.  Then the middle area is filled with all the enchiladas you could think up.  Beyond that there is a breakfast bar with make your own waffles and pancakes.  If you continue into the other room they have an omlette bar and plenty of breakfast items such as eggs benedict.  They also have plenty of fresh fruit, ice cream, and churros.

It's by far the best value for brunch.  Lots of variety and all really good.

Sunday brunch merits 4 stars because of the sheer magnitude of food itself. And the food is above average for buffet food quality. We made a crucial mistake of filling up on enchiladas before we realized there was whole other room of food. Save room for the fajita bar and omelette station. The desserts were kind of weak...pineapple crepes don't do it for me.

But yes, Casie C. the sausages were delicious.

Almost thought drinks (including the bloody Mary bar) were included with the buffet price...they're not...too good to be true.

This is a nice place to have brunch!

We love to eat here for brunch. When we go, we usually go during Sunday. The place is sometimes confusing to find if you are not familiar with the place, but you will get there. The place is not that big, but I must say, their overall service is great. We've been here so many times and not even ones we had any problem with the staff or the server that we get. There are variety of food choices that you can try on and a good amount that you would like. The omelet bar is wonderful, and so is the omelet lady that cooks it for us. The cakes gets a little dry sometimes, but there are other dessert choices that you can pick on. As a person who isn't a fan of sausages, I can honestly say, Cadillac bar has one of the best sausages in my opinion! They always meet my needs for a great brunch so I have nothing to complain about. I Highly recommend the place.

We sat at the bar for lunch, terrible service right off the bat. I tried to explain to the bartender that I wanted a "floater" with our margaritas (shot of tequila on top) he dumped the margaritas in frustration and made them again but mixed the tequila.

The food was terrible, lazily presented and with ingredients I would expect to find from 'Super K' down the street. The manager verbally assaulted an employee for an extended period of minutes in intervals. Talk about day time drama.

Nothing stood out, two no name bartenders, took forever to pay.

I will say that an instance, rather a slight resemblance of proactive service came when the bartender offered another round until I realized after eating the ice at the bottom of my margarita mug I had held it up for another.

will not dine here again, not even if this place were to survive the rapture and my only other option was a BigMac or starvation. Okay, maybe to avoid starvation but that's it.

My father in law raved about this place while visiting, so we took a chance and went.

There were a couple of things I took away from Cadillac.

It is really loud in here. You can hardly hear the people at your own table speak. It's a mixture of the music and too many people.

They had a check in offer on foursquare, a free queso. So I got it. Then they came by and made me write my name down for them. I thought that was odd, like, they don't trust that I won't do it again? Why not just change your check in special so that it's only the first time you check in, or every 3rd time. I thought it was kind of weird and rude.

The food was okay. IT wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was also wasn't the worst. It was a lot of food. I didn't finish my food at all. My husband calls this place "a mexican restaurant for old people." I suppose I agree.

It didn't fall in love with Cadillac, so it just gets an OK in my book.

Went to Cadillac Bar for lunch today. I have not been in a while and have to say that this place is very nice. Beautifuuly decorated and entire staff was really friendly and attentive. We had great service and were checked on by at least 4 different people to make sure that everything was okay. My tea glass stayed full. I would only drink a little and someone was by filling it up. I really like that!! Had the lunch beef chimichanga and it was delicious. The tortilla was fried perfectly so that it was still soft and chewy. The seasoned beef inside was really flavorful and super tender. Definitely recommend to anyone that is a fan of Tex Mex food. With the lunch specials running $9.99 to $10.99 and the portions filling, not a bad combination.

Great place if you're looking for a wide selection and you can eat a lot! From American breakfast to tomales, from tacos to ribs, from churros to chocolate cake, there's a lot for you to choose from. Lunch buffet cost $17.99 per person and that's with water.

This place gets pretty packed so go in a smaller crowd to get seated faster.

The overall food is decently good. Their ribs were surprisingly good for a buffet. I wasn't a fan of their tomales. They also have an omelette station.

Service was ok when you were able to get service.

I've been here exactly 2 times. Once for happy hour and once for brunch.
And both times, I had an AWESOME experience. The food is delicious. The service is always good. I would absolutely recommend the Brunch fo sho.
Althought super crowded, the Brunch has sooooo much food. Two rooms worth in fact. Even with all the people that are regularly at the weekend Brunch, there was no crowding around food and no wait in lines. Plenty and plenty of food to go round. The Brunch is super energized and a very fun atmosphere. Great for big groups or those needing to feed the hunger of a hangover. Plus, it's inexpensive for what you get. I can't wait to go back!

We came here for a birthday dinner recently. Food is pretty good for a Landry's restaurant. Their salsa was decent. I managed to find a "healthy" entree and ordered the macadamia crusted tilapia with pineapple salsa, it was huge! I only ate half of it and asked for a to-go box. On our way out, I forgot my doggie bag but I returned to claim within 5 minutes, to find out they had chucked it! But, they redeemed themselves by making me a 1/2 entree to-go.

Cadillac bar is an overall good Tex-Mex restaurant.

The first time I was here was for a Christmas party, and the food was good enough to come back and try the place some other day.

So I did. Again and again, and again. While this isn't my go to tex mex joint, the food is really good, it is much cheaper than Ninfa's or Pappasito's, and the portions are even large enough to share.

I like coming here because they have large televisions on the walls of the dining area, which makes it perfect for watching Rockets games or football games without being at the bar and without being lame sauce and watching it at home.

The service is very good, and the waiters are friendly.

I personally wouldn't pick this place for brunch, because they make you sit in a designated brunch area that is super loud and crowded and there are tons of kids running around. When I go during brunch time, I just order from their regular menu and sit at the normal part of the restaurant.

Also, check for reservations on Friday and Saturday nights. The place is jam packed!!

First time there and we had no idea the restaurant was split in two and we inadvertently sat in the brunch section. We were not offered anything but the brunch so we grazed and boy was it delicious.  I loved the chicken mole enchiladas!  Next time though I definitely would just rather sit in the normal section and have a more proportioned meal, I am soooo stuffed!

I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars for the fact that although the waitier was well aware this was our first time after asking us if we had ever been there he didn't ask if we were sure we wanted the buffet or menu.  He was an awesome waiter though so it's just hard to say.  I wish we would of known we had an option between buffet or regular menu....

I've been here a few times and have never felt WOWWED. Went a few months ago with a friend visiting and he liked the food (please keep in mind, he's from UT...lol) but when we asked the waiter for a virgin strawberry margarita - he said he didn't think they served those and went to go ask --he never came back. Finally, the manager came over and asked if we wanted the virgin SM - to which he then added that they'd have to charge us for it - ummm duh. By this point, I realized that these two guys were not the smartest ones in the bunch. I think we literally got the drink 1 min after they brought us the ticket. Needless to say, I was not impressed ...AT ALL.

I went back about 2 weeks ago for happy hour with a gf and although they had decent specials - there was only one bartender. That did not work because I do not like to fight for my drinks.

This is probably a place of last resort....

    Thumbs down x 2

Service was great here.  A Gf and I went on a Friday evening around 6ish.  They have 2 huge a55 parking lots!!  Good lawdy!  I have heard about this place being really good, but when I went on Yelp, I was not too thrilled about going.  Oh well..I had to see what all the other hullabaloo was about.

It is a nice restaurant inside with white table cloth tables.  The waiters are all nice.  I was greeted right when I came in the door by a guy holding tons of plates.  He was obviously delivering food to a table but he managed to stop to greet me and asked if I needed a table.

The hostess was right behind him and so she greeted us and brought us to our table.

We ordered the queso fundido which came with tasty grilled chicken, poblano peppers, onions, red bell peppers and tons of stringy cheese.  It was a huge portion for 6.99.  The queso came with flour tortillas.  I think we got stuffed on this dish which made it difficult to finish our fish tacos and beef enchiladas.

The fish taco was really good.  It was a blackened mahi mahi fillet with a pineapple salsa.

The beef enchiladas were good too.  The strips of beef were tender and seemed to have been marinated in a steak sauce like A-1.  It had a subtle tangy flavor.

All of the food ordered was good, but I have had better "authentic mexican food" elsewhere.  I would definitely recommend the Queso Fundido.  You can also get it with Chorizo, beef and I think shrimp.

I definitely want to try out their brunch one day..but as far as visiting this place again for lunch and/or dinner..I will only go if I have to.

We recently went here with a group of 8 for brunch around 1pm on Sunday. It was crowded but the buffet laid out in front of us enticed us to wait the 30 min wait. Boy, was it worth it! If you are eating here for brunch, come hungry and wear your stretchy pants!

To drink, I ordered the Prickly Pear Mimosa and it was very yummy (and the table tent touted that it was low calorie) and well priced at ~$3.50. I may have saved on calories with my mimosa, but I made up for it at the smorgasbord that followed at the buffet. They have a whole section dedicated just to enchiladas and tamales. They have so many options so you can try a little of everything. My favorite was the spinach enchiladas. The next section of the buffet has generous portions of fajitas, tacos, fruit and all other sorts of eclectic food (mainly "lunch" foods). The fajitas were good and I had some grilled chicken breast with caper and artichoke heart sauce that was oh-so-yummy.

Then there is a waffle and crepe station as well as an omelet station. They also have a little bit of regular "breakfast" food, such as scrambled eggs and bacon. I didn't try any of these because I had mistakenly ate breakfast so I wasn't very hungry so I was conserving room so I could eat dessert.

Finally, they have a dessert station that won't disappoint. They had tres leches, cheesecake, chocolate cake, carrot cake and ice cream with all the toppings! For some strange reason, I was craving the ice cream, so I passed on the cakes so I can't comment if they were good.  However, my friends seemed to really enjoy the tres leches and the chocolate cake.

The service was good (we didn't require much attention), the parking is plentiful, and the price was fair for the bountiful feast (I believe it was about $20pp, not 100% sure because I didn't pay the check). I definitely will be back for some more brunch buffet action.

Came here with a big group of 24 (wedding rehearsal dinner). The head honcho in charge (not sure his name but very cool Mexican guy from Chicago) chatted us up while we waiting for the rest of our party. He also was good enough to explain their rewards program that managed to get us a ton of rewards points. So excellent service on his end.

I won't say that my water glass never went empty but on the whole, for a party of our size on a Friday night no less, waitstaff was pretty on top of it.

Food was so-so. I had the taco salad with the steak and it was huuuge. You really can't mess up a taco salad so I had no complaints. Husband had the tacos which were fine (fine, not great).

Ambiance is like any bar/restaurant - dark, crowded and LOUD. Especially in the little semi-private room they put us in, I could barely hear the person across the table from me.

On the whole, it's not like you'd come to Cadillac for authentic Mexican food - it's a chain afterall but some margaritas and a casual night out, it cuts the mustard for me.

Bad Service, Bad Food, Chaotic Evening... We came here for my boyfriend's birthday with a group of 25 people on a Friday night. We had called in earlier in the week and made reservations. Once we all got seated, I was shocked to notice that we only had one waiter assigned to the table and he had multiple other tables he was taking care of. At a minimum, a group of 25 should have had 2 waiters or at least one fully assigned waiter. We started noticing how long it took the waiter to come order drinks and to bring out chips and salsa. Eventually, after lots of waiting, we finally had to start going to the bar to order drinks. However, the bar was really crowded and we had to fight for our drinks there also.

Finally, after 2 HOURS!! he came to take our food orders. By this point everyone is just ready to order so we can get out of there. We order, the food comes out 45 min later. I got shrimp quesadillas, they were cold, the cheese was hard in the middle, but at this point I didn't even feel like saying anything. Actually, he never came back to check on the food after it was dropped off so I didn't really have an opportunity to say anything.

To top off the evening, he refused to split up the checks, not even by table, so we had 25 people's food and drinks on one check, leading to about 30 minutes of calculator time to determine everyone's bill. After the extremely disappointing service, food, and the fact that we were there for over 3 hours, it's needless to say that I, nor any of the other 24 people we were with, will be back. Such a shame that my boyfriend's birthday bash had to start off with this poor excuse of a restaurant.

In the future, I'm sticking to El Tiempo or Cyclones

In a city with a good number of Mexican restaurants, this place disappointed.  I didn't even know it was a Mexican restaurant until my friend suggested we go here because it was nearby and we wanted Mexican food.  There are positives to this place, but I do not think I'll be back.

It's in a great location right off of I-10 and next to a number of solid Houston restaurants.  There's plenty of parking here too.

The service I received here was outstanding.  I do not have a single complaint about that.

Where this restaurant fell short was the food.  The red and green salsa and chips were average.  The queso was also just average.

I had the Spinach Enchiladas and they were quite bland.  I wasn't a fan of the them at all.  It's hard to describe how bland they were, but I personally believe I can make better ones.   The beans and rice were nothing special either but usually they aren't.

There's certainly some positives about this place but the food fell short.  i didn't really have any expectations of this place before going here because I didn't do any prior research but I doubt I'd go to this place again based on my one time food experience.

My wife had her 10 year reunion here and multiple people, including me, had drinks run up on our tabs. Not just a few either, we had over 20 drinks that we weren't even ordering on our tab. The manager on duty treated all of us like we were in the wrong and there was no way her bar tenders could have made a mistake. She actually attempted to get the sheriff on duty to ticket us for refusing to sign our tab.  He wasn't impressed with managements customer service either.
Bottom line this place does not care about their customers and management is horrible. If you want bad service and to be ripped off, this is your place!

I generally feel dirty when visiting this place.  The reason is because they are part of the Landry's Group.  Simply put, Tilman Fertitta's endeavors are an affront on taste.  I mean that in two ways.   First, they are an affront to the sense of taste with their continued, consistent standard of crap for their food.  Second, they are an affront to taste in the Kantian aesthetic way in that Fertitta fought hard for a "Zoo license" so that he could have tigers in an already Vegas-lite Downtown Aquarium (isn't it supposed to be a fish restaurant?)or throw a roller coaster on the Kemah Boardwalk in the midst of his poor quality chain restaurants.  Because everyone knows that roller coasters and tigers are way more important to a restaurant than food.

So why do I visit Cadillac?  Well, I have not been inside their regular dining section in years because the last two or three times I went were an exercise in determining just how much worse the menu was getting.  So currently I enter the "party room" doors for their Sunday brunch.  It is pricey as Connie said but for some reason I kind of like it.  The Tex-Mex food is average and non-offensive, the american staples I generally avoid because I just don't care much for sausage links and the like.  The fresh station is good and what you would expect at a buffet with belgian waffles, omelets, and sometimes crepes.  The desserts are either bad (cakes and such) or decent - good (sopapillas are either wonderful or as tough as an army boot that has been buried in the Normandy beach since D-Day).

So why do I like Cadillac Bar's brunch?  I have no idea, really.  I suppose it is because I can get a decent variety of decently good breakfast foods and because their french toast is almost always delicious.  I also like to make my own breakfast taco specials that are comprised of eggs, hash browns, guacamole, and chile con queso.  To me, Cadillac is just a little different than other Mexican breakfasts and for that reason, plus variety, I will generally suck up my self-righteous indignation at the thought of supporting Mr. Fertitta and sit down for a nice brunch (unless the boy is having a bad day and making my life miserable...but that is another story.  Can we review our kids on here?).

Huge portions (I share the fajita plate, Monterrey something). Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere. I am partial to sitting at the bar, but the service is good with regular seating as well.

I've been here several times, although it never seems to be by choice. Cadillac Bar appears to be a popular place to host work functions and graduation parties. I had tried a few of their enchilada dishes and always thought the food was sort of average tasting, until my sister had her rehearsal dinner here. We rented out their party room and served fajitas buffet style. The beef fajitas were delicious and so were the ritas. The staff did a wonderful job with setting up everything and service was very friendly.

I will definitely be back for those fajitas.

How is it that I only recently discovered Cadillac Bar's magnificent Sunday brunch? Shame on me!

For only 17 bucks, you're let loose on several tables of freshly cooked food... just a sample of what I remember seeing:

    -Build-Your-Own French Toast/Waffle/Pancake bar
-scrambled eggs, migas, hash browns, biscuits and gravy
    -fresh fruit
    -Build-Your-Own Omlet bar
-chick and beef fajita with all the trimmings to make a delicious taco or gordita
    -enchiladas, empanadas, quesadillas
    -chips and dip
    -a huge dessert table!
-and of course, my favorite, piles of crispy BACON!

Drinks were fairly cheap, too. Only $3.50 for mimosas, Ritas and Bloody Marys, which you customize yourself! I only wish they had bottomless mimosas. :( Can't win 'em all!

One important thing to mention - Sunday Brunch is from 10:30am to 3pm... go early to avoid the crowds!

My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach but I got my money's worth... I went home satisfied and full! I am definitely coming back next month with family in tow for my Birthday brunch!

I took my office of 19 people here for lunch. Cadillac Bar was very accommodating for such a large group! The groups they usually cater to are like 300 people, so they're used to groups. We got a semi-private room and excellent service - all our food came out together and quickly!

I got the crawfish enchiladas and split them with my co-worker's cancun enchiladas. Both were good, but the cancun was the best!! Crab meat and shrimp with a cilantro cream sauce and cheese topped with avocado.

I also have to add that the guacamole here was made table-side and is made to order - want lots of onions, you got it...jalapenos, sure! Several of us agreed that this was the best guacamole we'd ever had!

It was also interesting to note the serious lack of female presence at lunch. The place was packed with men and only like 3 women in the whole place. None of us could figure out why. Ladies - it's not scary... you should go - have some guacamole and cancun enchiladas! You won't be sorry!

Cadillac Bar's Sunday brunch seems pricey at around $16, but when I consider the sheer amount of selection available, I always find it to be worth the money. Brunch is served on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., behind the restaurant proper in the banquet room off Nolda St.

The space is huge, and round tables are set up to seat several people. It's a little odd to sit at such a big table when you're a party of two, but if you just top your table with dishes of food, you'll completely forget about it.

The buffet has four main sections: traditional brunch, Tex-Mex, cook-to-order stations and dessert. On the traditional brunch steam table, you can count on eggs scrambled with ham and bell peppers, bacon, sausage, eggs benedict, cheese blintzes and a large fruit spread. They also have a very respectable French toast that they've recently added. Add to this cooked-to-order omelets and waffles, and you've got your standard brunch spread, but it doesn't stop there.

The Tex-Mex steam trays typically include two kinds of enchiladas, flautas, chilaquiles, chicken and beef fajitas, a fish entree, and all the usual fixins - Spanish rice, refried beans, crispy taco shells, queso, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo and shredded cheese. On one occasion they had a green chile pork stew, and I would trade my husband's right arm for them to offer it on the standing brunch menu. It was really delicious.

There is also a cook-to-order station for gorditas and quesadillas, as well as a giant pot of steaming tamales, in case you couldn't find anything else you wanted to eat.

Finally, there is a table of desserts that includes chocolate cake, flan, tres leches and sopapillas. All of the desserts are pretty average, so I almost never partake in any of them, preferring instead to finish my meal with half a waffle topped with sugared pecans and a little maple syrup.

I haven't been to Cadillac Bar for anything other than brunch in a long time, so I can't comment on their regular service. I remember the food being average for Tex-Mex, and given that it's a part of the Landry's chain, it's probably still pretty average. Brunch seekers, however, will find a wonderland of offerings, and I'd recommend you arrive early to beat the crowds.

Hard for me to totally diss this place because I went to a rehearsal dinner for a VERY large family here...and they were very accommodating!

The food was so-so and that's why I'm deducting a few stars.  We had a buffet set up with shrimp quesadillas, queso and chips....and then another buffet with fajita style tacos, rice and beans.  The guacamole was odd to say the least...was ok once it was dolloped onto a taco...but alone...woah!  It had that carbonated taste if you know what I mean!  Ick.

We had the choice of drinks: beer, wine and margs.  The blended margaritas WERE quite tasty although my boyfriend's mom thought they tasted a bit off.

The space was great for what we needed it for but the only drawback, and an other reason for lost stars, was that ANOTHER shindig was occurring in a room backing up to ours and they were playing hip-hop SO loudly that we couldn't hear the toasts made by family members...SIGH.

So I'd say, good for a birthday...probably would stay away for a general Mexican food outing.

I am a native Houstonian and never eaten at Cadillac Bar before my recent visit and boy have I been missing out! The enchiladas suizas, refried beans and rice were delicious. The white meat chicken inside the enchiladas was so tender and the everything was perfectly seasoned. The salsa was fresh, warm and addicting and not too spicy. The tortilla chips were huge and warm and not too greasy.

I would pass on the $3.50 house margaritas next time and order top shelf only because I like a little more tequila but the flavor was good.

I accidentally left my credit card behind and I called as soon as I realized it. I spoke to the manager and they made sure to keep it safe for me until the next day. The manager on duty has a great sense of humor! Can't wait to go back next time I want to blow my diet and get my Mexican food craving fix. I've also heard rave reviews about their brunch and look forward to trying that as well.

I could write a 2 star review of cadillac bar's usual menu-- and all the locations seem to have the same issues--the incredibly consistent Landry's terrible service, the salsa is not flavored with anything strong enough to cover up the black pepper, the overpriced limited menu..

However!! The Sunday (and now saturday) brunch buffet is f#$%ing AMAZING!!
Though, kids up to 12 are 7.99 and grownups 16.99--so it can get expensive. Next time I'll leave the one-platers at grandmas=)

We waited "20 minutes" and there was still a wait when we left-- but it is for good reason..
My favorite thing about this place is that I can "cook" my own food-like having my own prep cooks. I made some outrageously wonderful breakfast tacos with ingredients like-
-fresh corn or flour tortillas--or crunchy shells
    -eggs, bacon, hashbrowns,migas
-cheese, sour cream, real guacamole, pico de gallo
    -steak, chicken and pork fajitas
-fresh jalapenos, small diced ripe tomatoes, fresh cilantro, onions, sauteed red and poblano peppers, and again- guacamole (high dollar item lately im sure youve noticed)
    -beans& rice (didn't try them)
    - i liked the green salsa on them, once you add jalapenos it it s spicy enough--but while my husband liked the red salsa, I wouldn't recommend wasting any stomach space with it.

    Today they had--
    -tortilla soup
-eggs benedict (very thin if any hollandaise so I skipped it)
-3 enchiladas (suiza, cheese, and spinach) (tried the spinach ..um, not recommended...very lean cuisine tasting)
-mediocre quesadillas (but you could add...)
-very good crunchy beef empanadas (when added to)
-scrambled eggs cooked in butter-- oh how I hate margarine sauced eggs--and of course omelets or any style eggs
-biscuits and gravy and kielbasa style sausage
    - a huge fruit table that I plan on hitting hard um, next time when I'm being a good dieter..with strawberries, pineapple (fresh), honeydew and canteloupe (which someone had taken the time to ripen) and canned peaches. I did have some strawberries..with whipped cream, though=)

The waffle/pancake/french toast/ crepe station had a display of toppings-
cooked fruit topping (like blueberry, strawberry etc)
chocolate chips (that melt easily on a hot waffle)
    real whipped cream
real caramel sauce (needs squeze bottles though..)
    pecans
    marachino cherries
    warm caramel bananas
    butter & warm syrup

Next time, I think I'll ask the crepe lady for some empty crepes and make my own from the savory stuff... Or maybe I'll make a big healthy salad and a feast of fresh fruit.(or maybe I'll talk my way into the door with that sentiment and gorge on crispy bacon/chicken fajitas)

I never got to the dessert table, but my family reported the chocolate cake was very, very good. They also had ice cream and cheesecake, that I saw. How did I skip this you ask? Well, it was in a separate room and it was very crowded in there...so crowded and awkward that it would have been a star off if it weren't so good--you'll see. Next time I'll try going later around 230 or earlier at 1030.
    I hope this was useful!!=)

Their Brunch Buffet is incredible. Honestly the best brunch buffet I've been to.. it blows Hugo's out of the water!

Waffles.. with whipped cream and fruit.. pancakes hot off the griddle
    Omeletes made to order
Yummy little puff taco thingys filled with meats fresh off the grill
    Quesadillas
    Fajitas
    Chips and Queso
    Migas

Those were my faves, but there were many more.. All the food was FRESH and top quality.. For $16, a great value. They also have drinks that are cheap as hell.. bloody marys and mimosas for $3? Amazing.. honestly I loved it!

I stopped here on my way home from IKEA after remembering they had pretty good veggie Tex-Mex options. First off, the service is fantastic. Second, the restaurant is surprisingly cute and kind of artsy on the inside (I really like their light fixtures).  Third, the food delivers. Two words: Vegetable Fajitas. I was blown away by how delicious (and plentiful) the grilled veggies were (corn, mushrooms, squash, onions, zucchini, and carrots...oh my!). There was more than enough to share, but I REALLY didn't want to. Of course I made sure to pack up the rest for leftovers, and OF COURSE I forgot them at the restaurant...bummer.

ALSO, the chips and salsas are great--one a creamy cilantro salsa and the other made in that not-too-hot chipotle style. I'll be back soon!

GREAT PRICE & even BETTER FOOD! the price is definitely underrated for the amount of food u have to choose from. The selection is overwhelming! Omelet station, pancake station, breakfast food station, fajita station, enchilada station...& if you don't want brunch they have regular Mexican food! Amazing. Only downside is they don't have bottomless mimosas, but you probably won't have room for more than one with all the food. Try it at least once if skeptical, but I bet you'll love it!
