We went on a saturday night, 4 of us. It was busy but we were offered high top tables which were totally fine with us. Our server was excellent, she was attentive but not overbearing.
I ordered the bang bang salad with shrimp, friends ordered the ribs, fish tacos and steak. ALL loved their meals. The best part was the SANGRIA. AAAAAAAAmazing!
For desert my friend had the white chocolate cheesecake, it was good but i thought the chocolate crust was overwhelming.
Regardless I think overall it was a great place, great service and we'd return :) -

I like this Cactus location because it is the first Cactus ever, so it has that vintage look which is different from the newer locations.
I have been here in the past many times and I have been burned a few with the food, however I went here yesterday afternoon with the idea of a girls afternoon, sitting in a patio, enjoying the beautiful sunshine, having a glass of nice cold white wine and some appies and we got what we wanted!.
Service was good, our waitress was very nice and not pushy at all which is great when you really want to catch up with an old friend.
The wine was good, atmosphere was great and have I mentioned the yam fries yet? I just love them when they are made right!.
As I said, we didn't really eat but for yesterday's experience, I am giving them 4 stars.
I will go back for a meal soon to see how it goes! ;) -

This place has the wickedest tasting food & customer service! Just when you wonder what ever happened to good customer service... you visit a place like this! The servers are so friendly, and helpful. They strive to make sure your visit is nothing short of awesome! And the food.... OMG DELICIOUS!! My favorite plate is the Salmon! yummmm...

The food was really good. I am so surprised. Celeriac Soup and Butternut Squash Ravioli. Fresh, quality and some passion behind the execution.

Okay...
I brought 4 clients there and order a steak medium rare.
I got a well done instead. We were famished after a long day on set doing a shoot.
So I the server left the dish there so I could nibble on things until my new steak was made correctly.
It came a bit later but perfect. By then I ate about 3/4 of my well done steak and all the veggies and potato. The new plate was fresh with all that. I ended up taking it home.
The manager came and said they don't normally do that huge of a mistake and took the entire steak meal off the bill. I was totally blown away.
We tipped the server generously and left there happy.
My wife enjoyed the steak at home later.
THIS IS THE BEST CACTUS CLUB ever and I have been going there for the past 6 years and my loyalty towards them just increased!!! -

For a while, when my fiance was in school, we were coming to this location every Friday night for late night date night. Actually, the full name is Friday Night Late Night Date Night. I love this location! We consistently have the same server almost every time we come and he remembers our drinks each time. I love Joeh! We even sat one night on their cold patio just so he would be our server.
On this particular night, we didn't have him as our server (sad face), but our server was just as nice. We ordered our usual longboard lager and grapefruit & soda. Since we already had dinner, we ordered two desserts: key lime pie and new york cheesecake with berry sauce. I love how the key lime pie seems to be fluffy condensed milk with lime... and the lime zest is a nice touch. A whole piece is a little much though, and the whip cream cuts the richness. Wow, the whip cream cuts the richness that is their key lime pie.
Not a big fan of their cheesecake. It has an chocolate crumb crust, and I don't really like it. I am not always a fan of mixing chocolate with fruit. -

The Rocket Salad here is to die for. I needed a quick lunch in between meetings and that salad really hit the spot. Parking here can be quite tricky and there's a little dead end road towards the back where you can park. It can get pretty cramped in there at times but it is well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

Located in a very nice outside mall next to Whole Foods in case you want to make a shopping day out of this. They have a large typical bistro menu as well as numerous drink options and feature various specialties from their somewhat famous chef who has been on a TV reality show. They hired a lot of "pretty" people as most high-end restaurant bars try to do and we experienced very good service and friendly staff. They even took an item off our bill because we only thought it was "okay". We'd return next time we're in Vancouver but will probably explore some more creative options since the city has so many other great options. Still, we're glad we tried it out.

Great service and delicious food especially their bellinis, szechuan beans, and cajan chicken burger!
The only issue would be the longer wait times for large groups as the restaurant is on the small side. Larger cactus club locations would be more accommodating for big groups
