Review from Alex H.
This was one of my favorite gallery spaces in Berlin--they host a series of changing exhibitions, and during my visit it was a long, laborious exhibition on the history of contemporary terrorism. I'm not sure if it's still there, but it wasn't to be missed. They were clearly setting up for an event towards the end of my visit, which was a little odd, but I'd definitely make a trip here if ever in the area.

Berlin
I love photography, so looking outside onto the rain I decided to check out the C/O Berlin. Sadly i missed the polaroid exhibit that was there was there recently, so now they have a "paparazzi" exhibit and one on Berlin. I liked both of the exhibits, the first one because I especially liked the photographies of the musicians and the latter because it was really graphic. In fact almost too graphic as I know that some of the photos will hunt me in my memories (i have basically no tolerance).
The space of the exhibit is typical for Berlin. A very old building that has not really been renovated, so it still looks old and grungy inside (i think some cleaning up would not be the worst idea). The vibe really suits berlin though, so I am happy that C/O Berlin turned out like this and is not attempting any minimalistic approaches. The museum is great and I will be back for other exhibits.
Oh I also really liked that they have workshop for kids and if i had a kid (or was younger) I would definitely send it there. -

Whenever I am bored, I go to galleries. That's my thing.
C/O always impresses me with their exhibitions. Gregory Crewdson is one of my favorites and I was delighted when they hosted his works earlier this year.
Highly recommended. -
