We have purchased a home with Conrad Rygier's help as our agent, and have also used him in the past to find a responsible tenant to reside in a property.
He is somewhere in his 30s, now married.
By the Park Realty is his parents' business. He grew up exposed to different facets of real estate, and for this reason I'm sure he'll be able to answer over 95% of questions that come his way. Also, he has good insight as to whether or not a home is good value - he knows the market and he has the training to see a home differently than a first or maybe very experienced home buyer. I also like the people that he referred us to, like the home inspector, and mortgage broker. Both competent business-like people: they got the job done well.
He donates 10% of everything to animal sanctuaries.
The only negative thing that I can think of is mild.
The hardest time perhaps to purchase a home is in the wintertime, so we kept seeing a limited selection of homes. He was quite patient about everything however, eventually, he was curious to see if we were ready to put on offer on any of the homes. We were not at that point. But we were sometime after that, when we found what we wanted.
As my co-worker told me, it's not us who chooses the home, but the home that chooses us. :)
Conrad was great for both of us to work with, and we'd definitely be seeking him if we need his services in the future.
