By the Beach is a great little spot for fish and chips. Offering a nice view of Bell Island when the weather is good, please be aware that it can be rather busy and crowded at peak times.
The location map for this business is wrong as of the date of review. If you want to find the restaurant, then keep driving down into St. Philip's on Thorburn Road until you come alongside St. Philip's harbour and you can see the waters of Conception Bay straight ahead. Thorburn Road comes to an end right there, and By the Beach is just off to the right.
