Ok, I'm going home to Niagara Falls this week and will definately hit Buzzy's for pizza and wings. This is what pizza and wings are all about!! The BEST ever. The cheese, crust, sauce is perfect. Can't find cheese like this in Virginia where I live now. Definately runs among the very best pizza to be found in Brooklyn or da Bronx let alone Buffalo!
I have to admit that I do miss the smaller Buzzy's but agree with the previous reviewer that they did indeed need more room. Their lines can be out the door so take out is always an option.
Oh, and they have Labatt's Blue! Don't have that in Virginia either!!
Excellent pizza and wings, and yes, it's a hole-in-the-wall. But some of the best places are.
Regarding their wings verses Anchor's (the inventor of buffalo wings). Independant taste tests have confirmed that while Anchor's wings are bigger and plumber, Buzzy's are crisper and tastier. This is just not my opinion, but others that I have taken to both places.
You can have a pizza pie or pan. Very yummy. Will have to hit the gym double time when I get back to Virginia!! -

The pizza here is excellent. I don't know whether it's New York City style, but whatever it is, it's really just the perfect taste and texture.
So I give the pizza five stars.
The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired. Mostly comfortable seating, but there's also a definite lack of pizza-place atmosphere. I guess they just put the carpet in, so maybe they're still sprucing the place up, but the dining room we ate in felt like a living room in an empty tract home. -

This was a really great place to stop and eat. We stopped here on a whim as we were driving around and pulled up a POI on the GPS. We wanted some good NY style pizza and were totally impressed. It was really quick service and nice people (saying that coming from the south). We even grabbed a couple of t-shirts on the way out the door to give them a little free advertising down in Atlanta. Thanks for some great pizza before we went to Niagara Falls for the afternoon.

The wings have a buttery taste that is to die for! One of the best places for wings in the area. They always taste fresh and crisp. The Mild is crisper than the Medium--it depends on your taste.
The pizza is as plain as can be and they have burnt it on occcasion. Papa Leos has much better pizza.
The service is not the greatest--can be very slow. You frequently see one of the dirty cooks sit down and eat in front of you at a side table--disgusting.
The dining room area is too open and they havent done much in the renovations that seem to last forever. The separate dining room on the side looks cool but out of place.
I agree, the owner is rude at times, especially when he yells at his employees as you are trying to pay. -

I will start by saying the food is good. HOWEVER, and this is a BIG however, the service, well.... just plain sucks! Last time I went there, I ordered a Traditional Pizza, called it in for a pickup. When I got there, I was told by the girl that it was given to another customer. I asked how long it would be to make another pizza. She said the customer already called and was bringing it back. I said that I wasn't going to pay for a pizza that left the restaurant. I got a blank stare. I asked for a manager. She answered the phone and took another to-go order, then I reminded her to get a manager. When the manager came over, I explained that I wasn't going to pay for a pizza that another customer carried out of the restaurant, took home, and is now bringing back. He replied that it was a regular customer, he was fine. I reiterated that I wanted a new pizza made, I got a second blank stare followed by "why?". So I left. Unfortunately, if they don't think reselling a pizza that left with another customer is a problem, I hate to think what other practices they also think aren't a problem.

The best pizza in Buffalo. Great crust, sauce, cheese and pepperoni. The dine-in experience has changed in the past few years when they moved the entrance from the street to the side parking lot and added on a second dining room. I kind of miss the way it used to be, but they needed more room.
The open kitchen is pretty neat. Very clean for a pizzeria. They have at least 15-20 cooks back there on friday and saturday. The pizza is best other days when it is not so overwhelmingly busy. I think I might go for one tonight! -

I've ordered pizza here a few times, and they always mess it up! The first time, I ordered a plain cheese pizza for my wife and a cheese and pepperoni for myself. We ended up with two pizzas with pepperoni, italian sausage, and meat balls. I loved it but my vegetarian wife was PISSED! The next time I ordered a pizza, they told me it would be 20 min. I want there and they told me it would be another 10 min. Ten min later they said it was a mistake anf they took my pizza out 15 min ago, they then gave me a cold pizza and charged me full price. The last straw was when I ordered a cheese pizza with wings for delivery. First they delivered JUST the wings, they forgot the pizza, so they went back, but they brought the WRONG pizza, so they had to take back the pizza (covered with sausage, again my wife was PISSED) and bring me the cheese pizza I ordered. The whole ordeal took 1 hour and 45 min. I would not recommend Buzzy, the food is OK but the service sucks!

It's a bit of a misnomer to call this "New York Style Pizza" since they quite obviously mean "Niagara Falls, New York Style" but they've got some pretty damned good wings here. The pizza is square, more like Boston-style. Still, worth it.

Every time I've been here it's never been great, but it's never bad either. It's just one of those places where- yeah I'll eat the pizza if you got it, but you won't find me ordering here. They recently revamped the inside, so I bet it looks a lot nicer than it used to.

Not sure what the hell everyone was eating but it wasn't what I had. I ordered a cheese pizza and a small order of hot buffalo wings my first night here. NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cheese and sauce were okay but the crust was hideous. Not sure how to describe the taste but it was somewhere between paper and plastic....wtf. The wings tasted like chicken.....that is the best I can say. They were overcooked beyond help and they were very tough and chewy. The best thing they had was ginger ale.....now that is sad...just sad. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although there are many places to eat in Niagara Falls area, there aren't many that you can say about coming back. Pizza is good but not great. crust was the most yummy part. Wings were awesome and hot!! The ambiance is rather laid back which I like. Server probably was a family member, and only came when needed. I was there till quarter after 11 and they didnt rush us as they close at 11. I would say go here, give it a try. I didnt try other things on the menu but they probably are good.

We have been going to Buzzy's for about a year now. I will admit they have the best wings and the pizza is good if you like NY style. The service however is ALWAYS terrible. The waitresses are not friendly. This place reminds me of the soup Nazi episode from Seinfeld only the pizza Nazi. We went last night and were told we could not sit in the room with the TVs (we wanted to watch the Sabre's game. There was no one in that room. We waited 50 minutes for our pizza and 15 for our drinks. The server pretty much threw our food on the table. The best was when I informed the manager/owner he didn't really seem to care he pretended to and at the end interrupted me to tell me "thank you for letting me know" and kinda shooed me away. We will not be returning to Buzzy's ever again and the other couple we were with had never been there indicated they would not come back as well. If you really need to try the food get it to go.
