This place is doing BBQ right. I just had the pulled pork sandwich with the habanero BBQ sauce. I asked for their cream based coleslaw on the sammie. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich this way, it's how they do it down south and it goes very well together. They make the slaw to order so the cabbage remained crunchy!
The side of fries were fresh cut, and prepared chip-truck style. The owner offered some of their habanero-infused vinegar with them, it was quite good and i recommend it to anyone that likes the heat.
This is my third time going here since they opened. Previously, I had the ribs. Nice, deep smoke flavor, just the way I like it. I chatted a bit with the owner, real nice guy and loves to talk BBQ. -

My first time ever having Buster Rhino's - I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with the fries and coleslaw. And the whole thing came to be just under $10!
Pulled Pork Sandwich - Bread was fresh, and the pulled pork was perfectly done. Not too tough and not too soft. I chose the mild BBQ sauce, and it was tasty for sure.
They also sell packaged pulled pork / brisket / ribs / wings that you only need to boil in water for about 10 minutes and it is ready to serve.
Will definitely be back here. -

The Brisket and Pulled Pork Sandwiches are excellent. The portions are large and the price is reasonable. Definitely a place I will returning to.

Looking for a fix + time of my hands is usually not a good equation for me, especially when I'm hungry. Couple weeks back I downloaded the Clipmobile app. for my iphone and came across Buster Rhinos Southern BBQ. ( Clipmobile is an app. that serves up coupons, sales, etc from businesses in your area via GPS) Since everytime I watch and drool everytime I watch Diners Drive-in and Dives on the Food Network I had to make the trip to the Shwa from Ajax. Initially called the Whitby location and they were closed. Called up the Oshawa location and got into the Bat mobile and headed across Taunton Road. By this time my stomach was rumbly like the tremors of the earthquake we experienced earlier in the week.
Rolled into the plaza and it is the corner store. Immediately fixed my eyes on the menu board and ordered up the the pulled beef sandwich, coleslaw and fries. This is one of my first times trying southern BBQ and I was impressed. Beef on the sandwich was juicy, bun was fresh, fries are chip truck fries thick and full of flavour. the coleslaw had a light cream based dressing over the thinly graded carrots, lettuce and cabbage. Yummy!
Met Wayne, the owner, and let him know how I found him. Very nice guy and personable.
They only had one table for sit down but that was okay since I was taking mine back home.
They also had a selection of BBQ sauces and spices that you could purchase.
Great first experience of Buster Rhinos and Southern BBQ. -

I live around the corner from here and it is a staple on no cook nights. As an avid bbqer I can tell ya the foods great. Sides are tasty and the sauce is gamebreaker. Defiantly great whenever yer in a pulled meat mood.
