wow what a chore! This BK has not been reviewed so I just inputted all the addy info.
Anyways, Meatguy calls me up and says he wants to have lunch, its Whopper Wednesday! Meatguy loves his meat and hamburgers are one of his favorites.
I am late as usual, getting to BK at 12:30pm right smack at lunch hour. Holy smokes! I have NEVER seen this BK this busy, I almost had to park on the street!
I guess the economy is really tough and with the damn HST, eating out is very discretionary... BUT everyone wants a Whopper today.
They had a FULL crew ready to handle all the DUDES (some ppl like to use "dude," i don't know, kinda lost that term recently). Yes, most of the customers are guys, many trades workers wanting a quick lunch. The drive thru was NOT busy, guess many wanted a warm place to eat instead of their cars.
I ordered two Whoppers and a diet coke. I gave one to Meatguy, he tossed me back $2. I definitely always eat 2 but being sick and conscious of diet I had just one.
Overall I must say BK Whopper at regular price or Whopper Wednesday price, is the BEST value burger out there in the land of fast food.
Of course for Meatguy, always can be more meat... BUT all things considered, you pretty much get a taste of burger, bun, ketchup, mayo, pickles n veggies throughout the entire eating experience.
Need a quick burger fix? go for Burger King next time!
Freshly made and piping hot, I had a good experience today. -

I ordered a veggie burger here once. At first, the server was confused and said "Just veggie?" I said that I wanted a veggie burger again.
When I got the burger, there was no patty. In fact, it was a bunch of lettuce and mayo - hence, "veggie" burger.
I was gravely disappointed.

The kid at the drive through was rude....the food took like 15mins...I was over charged the my fries were practically frozen...needless to say not the best "meal" I have had....and after a long night at work I was SOOOOO looking forward to some bad for me food...*sigh
OH..and the 3 HUGE ass rats running around the drive through area...totally friggin' gross and creepy.... -

Cold burgers that taste slightly better than McDonalds and a patio that looks and smells only slightly better than an alley way define this burger king. A lot of seagulls hang out in their lot thanks to its gorgeous location next to False Creek, but they should really come in because there is way too much seating in here. I used to go here often when my commute was an hour and a half to work and like hell was I going to pack a lunch. Now I come here during Whopper Wednesday, when I feel like hating myself a little, even though the burgers are soo cheap.
The staff are actually pretty friendly every time I've been here. When I've decided to be drunk at night and pretend to be a car of some sort they look the other way and actually serve me some drunk munch.
If youre going for a whopper on their wednesday deal, ask them to either remove some toppings or add cheese. Otherwise you'll be getting a burger at perfect room temperature, since they stack them up 15 high in anticipation of a rush. Not that taking away vegetables or adding cheese will make this burger any better for you.Listed in: Dive Eats

It is a Burger King. The same as every other (hence the 3 stars for what a Burger King is it is ok). The good news (or bad news depending on your perspective - but you know mine) is that this one is closing. It is obviously too close to the Olympic Village to waste the space.
Bu-bye! -
