Review from Roanna Z.
In my dreams I am "a fan" of BKK.
I brought the big guy in here to indulge. The place is a wheat- eater's delight! Breads and more breads to choose from, including (the west coast elusive) Pumpernickel.
Day-olds for half price, lots and lots of treats and sweets.
Maybe in my next life..... or a dream.
But for now, I can enjoy only the wonderful smell of fresh baked goodies. -

* Very reasonably priced good quality bakery *
Stumbled onto this Korean owned bakery today. The offerings are classic European breads, buns, rolls, and a few North American style cookies, brownies, etc.
The highlight was the Italian roll. I know that it sounds silly to call an Italian roll a highlight. But bear with me.
Things I love about their Italian roll:
1) Crust is perfectly crunchy as it should be.
2) Centre is perfectly pillowy as it should be.
3) Very generously sized (let's just say about the size of 2-3 fists)
4) Ridiculously inexpensive (30 cents a roll!)
These are lovely eaten fresh with just a good butter, or used to make sandwiches. Also very nice if heated in the oven and served as a side with a good pasta.
