what a dream come true this place was when it opened fall 2010! i never thought i could find raw organic foods, let alone VEGAN foods, in north vancouver! hurrah! and to top it off, the food is DELICIOUS and the people here are the most lovely humans ever!!!
i wish they were open a wee bit later, but really, i am just so grateful they are here at all! and tao organics inside making those amazing raw burgers and kale chips and other delights! and B-F has a great stock of snacks to pack away for your day working in north van which otherwise has no healthy options!
ooh and the drink stamp card! who doesn't love a free drink every once and awhile?
thank you, buddha-full! -

When our Christmas-break snowshoeing trek to Seymour was cut short by traffic (read: too many people to fit on the mountain), we went to Buddha-Full. What a little gem! I love the fun decor, welcoming atmosphere, and neat selection of vegan foodstuffs.
I had a panini, which came (unannounced!) with a yummy side salad, along with a latte made with almond milk. Hooray! I try to avoid dairy, and I'm not a huge fan of soy milk - and I've never been to a cafe that does almond lattes! That alone garners an extra star!
While we were there, a local brought in a batch of kale chips (raw, dehydrated morsels of goodness). Friendly, welcoming - what a treat! A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for (and honestly, I think Jugo Juice costs about the same, but this just seems realer in some way).
Must go back! Who knew North Van had places like this? -

Vegan and organic in North Vancouver.. i couldn't believe it. And located on the cozy area of 1st and Lonsdale. I ordered Juice with pineapple, strawberry, beets and rose water. The rose water is such a great touch. I also ordered a veggie burger which looked very much like rabit food with a few more colours added. I didn't think a burger wrapped in lettuce could be so good. I have officially found my new favorite veggie burger. Usually i complain when i spend $15 on lunch because i am a cheapo but what was also amazing was that i didn't feel like having a nap after lunch which goes without saying most lunches. Service was great.

This place is pretty cute, and quite unexpected for the area! I got a delicious green juice that was basically salad in a cup. My companions got a variety of smoothies, all of which they were really impressed with. I also had a bowl of soup, which was satisfying, warm, delicious, and felt healthy. I will return.

We found this place completely by accident and were pleasantly surprised -- vegan/raw in North Van! Ordinarily we aren't fans of raw food and it was a cool day so we chose something cooked -- the vegan muffins. We were impressed by the range of food, cooked and raw, though. Burgers, lasagne, wraps, etc. They have tons of smoothies but I don't like bananas and they all have bananas in them. Too bad. Our muffins were candied pear-ginger, and they had two other selections including pumpkin-chocolate chip, sold out. Their prices are comparable to Whole Foods: on the high side, but you pay for what you get.
We liked their commitment to community and the environment, and the staff are friendly without "attitude". Will definitely return to try more. -

One of the best vegan smoothies I ever had! If you're into raw foods, and vegan lifestyle, this is a great place to try. They use organic plastic, and everything is Eco friendly!

I really like this place! I am there every Saturday for breakfast! I wish they were open on Sundays too! They are all about raw vegan cuisine!
I love their curried chickpea wrap with the salad, apple and nut muffin and carrot cake! I also tried some kind of a blueberry pie which was very interesting, I ate it all, but am still thinking did I really like it or did it just remind me of something I used to eat as a child in my grandmas kitchen:) I also tried a veggie burger, it was pretty good.
They also have smoothies and juices made on site. I tried a few, they were good, but I am generally not a fan of smoothies, I just order plain old orange juice. You can also get a card and then after 10 juices you get one for free:)
The place is a bit pricey comparing to other muffin places, but if you ask me it's totally worth it because you know everything is made from good ingredients!
Also if you are interested in massages, they got it too:)
go there!Listed in: Great finds!

Finally a place to get healthy, tasty food in Lower Lonsdale. Such a great addition to the neighborhood! Cool atmosphere, out of this world smoothies and knowledgeable, friendly staff. I'll be back for lunch all the time!
