I have never previously done any business with this specific florist and it was until recently I received a bouquet from my parents that came from Buckets. My bouquet originally was supposed to be delivered to my work on my birthday and unfortunately they never showed up, of course I was disappointed, as were my parents. The very next day I received the bouquet which I was excited about even though it wasn't on my actual birthday.
To my surprise there were 2 cards in my bouquet, one from my parents and one from Michael who works for Buckets. The card from Michael was an apology note and I DEFINITELY felt the sincerity of it. He explained that he was "Sooo sooo sorry" and that it was not my parents fault for the late delivery. Included with the card was a $50 gift certificate for Buckets. WOW, this is really a way to impress someone when a mistake had been made.
Definitely recommend Buckets to everyone. Good customer service and great job in fixing a mistake.

First let me just say ...... Wow.
I've read the reviews below about the stellar customer service from Buckets and honestly my hope was for at least 1/2 as good as the reviews.
I recieved even better....huh? is that possible. If there were 10 stars I would give it to Buckets. Michael is a complete professional and sweetheart all in one. Felt like my new BFF...even on the first phone call. relaxed, funny, laughter, and personal customer interaction.
I had a small intimate wedding and Michael was so helpful and answered questions and made changes and additions with such a sweet disposition. Even previewed my dress in order to get just the right bouquet. He remembered me down to the smallest detail when ever I called.
The flowers were gorgeous and perfect. My bouquet, corsages and the boutineers made my day. He delivered them to my door on St. Patricks day the morning of my wedding in the SNOW. lol by the afternoon of my wedding it was sunny and almost warm...go figure. Seattle weather always makes things interesting.
Thank you again Michael.
If you want personal and friendly service WITH QUALITY flowers then call Buckets. It's just the cool thing to do. The local guy gets supported and you get the best. -

This is my favorite Seattle florist. Hands down.
I've both sent flowers and received from Buckets. Every arrangement is a masterpiece. The crew at Buckets is super friendly and easy to work with. They even delivered flowers for my Mom's 55th birthday to the Eastside (Bellevue) for a very reasonable fee.
You cannot go wrong with Buckets. Forget 1-800Flowers , Proflowers, Teleflora, and FTD. Buckets is the ONLY way to go! -

I asked for a fairly dark bouquet, something with a rose or two, around $50.
What I got was right on $50, with a few small roses, and lots of bright lime greenery. A beautiful arrangement, but not really what I'd asked for.
Also, something I ought to have realized from the pictures on here, this place does mostly desk and centerpiece-style arrangements, not bouquets. Not the very best for giving someone on a date, which I imagine is why they seem to do largely delivery orders.
However, service was very good, the price was right, and they do have some great taste in flowers. -

My mother-in-law got my wife a bouquet after she gave birth. She said that Michael was very helpful and cordial on the phone. If that wasn't enough, I even think the flowers were amazing and I don't generally think about that stuff.
There were bursts of color and textures and height and depth...things I've never noticed until I saw that bouquet.
MUST HAVE. -

Michael makes MAGIC! Even with the smallest of requests to last minute needs for WOW factor, he delivers it again and again!
His location is wonderful and he really sets himself apart from anything you'd get at the nearby market vendors. He is 100% one of the sweetest downtown business owners you'll ever encounter! -

I highly recommend Buckets and Michael was very helpful and friendly.
We were in the hunt for last minute wedding bouquets (the wedding was later that same day) with very specific colors. We were visiting from out of town and we did not know where to start so we yelped the florists in the downtown area. Short of going to Pike's Market place to just grab some flowers, we took a chance based on the reviews and stumbled upon a quaint shop downtown - Buckets. There we stepped in from the cold and met Michael and in a matter of minutes he created two very wonderful pieces that hit the mark.
The Bride was not able to be with us when we purchased them but we knew when Michael was making them, they would be fabulous. Indeed the Bride LOVED them.
Highly recommended if you want a stand out bouquet with vibrant colors; captivating, and intriguing arrangements.

Micheal made my valentines day! I ordered two bouquets for my significant other through him and he even did his best to accommodate my special request! I called him a few weeks ahead to see if he could get dahlia's, which are extremely out of season AND of course my girl's favorite flowers. Micheal pulled through!
A few of the other reviews point out that he specializes in desk/delivery type arrangements, which I would say his true. But from entering his shop I can easily see he is not limited to that. I did get two of the shorter arrangements in a square vase and have to say it was a nice change up and my valentine LOVED THEM. I had went to the restaurant we had reservations at earlier in the day and had planned to have them place the arrangement on our table prior to being seated. It was the perfect size!
Anyways - Micheal is great! Tell him what you want and he will do his absolute best to give you something beautiful that suits your needs. -

Customer service was lovely; Michael was so kind and helpful when I needed to order flowers for a memorial service on a couple days notice. Very beautiful arrangements as well.I like to drop by the little cut flower places at Pikes Market for in season day to day flowers, but for special occasion, work related gifts, and when something needs to be done right, this is where you need to order your floral gifts. No question.

Needing to get same-day flowers to a friend 2000 miles away is a bit nerve-wracking, but I credit Yelp for leading me to Michael at Buckets. Excellent customer service--friendly, warm, and funny. And I'm told the flowers were beautiful.
Call Michael. He'll ask you for what kind of occasion, what the card should say, what type of flowers your recipient likes (see my answer above--I couldn't even tell him colors. Bad friend), and ask your price point.
3 hours later, I got a delighted thank you email from my friend, exclaiming how beautiful the flowers were.

Of course checked Yelp when I needed to send a client of mine in Seattle flowers. I called and left Michael a message, he called me back within 5 minutes. Not only was Michael helpful and delightful on the phone, he is from Spokane like me, how could I not love him?!
My client is only 2 blocks from Buckets, so Micheal did not charge me a delivery fee- which I thought was very kind.
I will definitely use Bucket's again for friends and clients I have in Seattle! -

After reading all the glowing reviews about Michael's work I knew he was the person to call when I wanted to send my parents a bouquet for their anniversary. Michael was highly responsive to me, funny and detail oriented. He took all of my feedback and created a masterpiece for my mom and dad. As soon as the arrangement was delivered (on time I might add) I received an excited phone call from my mom. I believe her exact words were "I have never seen something so unique and beautiful!" I think that sums it up perfectly.

Michael is AMAZING! I phoned him with no clue as to what type of arrangement I should give my boyfriend for our anniversary and he was so helpful with offering suggestions. The turnaround time was VERY quick, he delivered, and the price was much lower than I had anticipated for the phenomenal arrangement.
I would have to say that Michael helped me earn the Best Boyfriend Award. -

I am *thrilled* with the experience I had with Michael at Buckets. I just received a glowing email from the recipient of the flower arrangement - she said everyone at the office complimented her on her bouquet, and she was dying to know the florist's name.
Michael deserves the kudos - he was professional, friendly, and talented. He only charged me one delivery fee for the two bouquets going to the same office.
I will definitely use Buckets again when I have to ship flowers to a Seattle client. -

Buckets is another business that deserves five! Michael, the owner, is wonderfully pleasant, and creative beyond belief. He makes ordering/delivering flowers (for all occasions) so simple. I just call, tell him how much I want to spend, what the occasion is, and he comes up with a beautiful, unique arrangement.
He is the master of mixing & matching flowers. And the flowers are always fresh, and everyone I've ever sent flowers to using Buckets have said that they've lasted longer than any bouquet of flowers they've ever received.
Buckets delivery is not limited to the Seattle area; they've delivered to the East side for me as well. And if you're in Downtown Seattle, stop by the cute storefront on First Avenue.
This, by far, is the best florist in town! You rock, Michael! -

The '10 for 10 with the 5 Star Review' Train does not stop at Buckets!
After browsing for florists who were located downtown, I found this place to be the best in overall reviewery. Past customers has praised him for being innovative, prompt with delivery, and reasonable...
So I called him up. Michael answered the phone promptly, took my info, asked what I wanted, and said, 'Oh yes, I can do something lovely for her.'
Two hours later, I received an email from the overwhelmed recipient, and I quote, "I just got the most beautiful flowers of my entire life, I KID YOU NOT!"
Look no further for lovely creative arrangements in downtown Seattle. Go See Michael. Yes, this is an order.

wow!
so, I'm a horrible daughter and waited till the DAY OF my mothers birthday to order her flowers. I frantically went to yelp and typed 'flower delivery' for seattle.
I called and it was like "hey, do you deliver flowers?" ... "yes, we do" ... "do you deliver flowers today?" ... "maybe, it depends on where"
luckily mom works 2 blocks away. also turns out the guy does the flowers for her company every week!
the guy I spoke with, who I'm assuming is the owner (didn't catch his name unfortunately) was so fun! the whole transaction was a breeze considering I was calling from san francisco.
about 45 min later mom texted a photo of the birthday flowers she had received. they were GORGEOUS! she was all "there are flowers in here I've never seen before!" ... love it! I knew I had to pop on over here and write a review. now I see that everyone gives them 5 stars - totally deserve it! -

Michael created a gorgeous arrangement for my office for a memorial. The only parameters we gave was that the deceased is male and we wanted a tall arrangement. The colors were gorgeous. I can't gush enough about how pleased I am with his work. He was also easy to work with.

In Buckets I trust.
I stopped in for the first time because I wanted to send a nice bouquet to a friend. I was a little apprehensive because there wasn't much in the store for me to see, but based on the excellent reviews on Yelp and his promise that he "wouldn't let me down" I left feeling pretty good. Well needless to say the bouquet was amazing and she loved it.
I'll never pick a bouquet out of a glossy book again. Michael has been doing this for a long time and personally selects the arrangement based on your unique situation. On top of that, he's great to work with and obviously has a lot of pride in his work. -

I don't know much about flowers or flower arrangements but this much I do know: My lady likes them, and Michael at Buckets knows what he's doing!
I always get a fantastic reaction when I occasionally send them to her and when she brings them home from work (where I usually get them delivered), they look amazing! I just tell him the colors she likes and whether I'm in a dahlia mood, roses, etc. and he does his magic. Even for a guy like myself, I can really appreciate the arrangements, usually packed with a few funky flowers that I've never even seen before and they do indeed last a long time!
I used to get flowers from a bunch of different places downtown, basically whoever showed up on google, and wasn't a national chain, but never again.
I now use Buckets for all my flower giving/delivery needs!

Review for customer service - I saw Buckets had really great reviews so I called to find out if I could have same-day delivery for a particular bouquet (possible at 2:15 pm). Unfortunately, did not have the exact type of flower I was searching for, but Michael was so nice and friendly when I called back to let him know when I found another place that had that flower, I will def call back for my next order though.

I found Buckets on Yelp and called them from Texas to order flowers for my daughter's 30th birthday. Michael did a fantastic job! I told him I wanted something special, and he said "Don't worry, I'll take care of it".
He called me several times to confirm arrangement details. The real proof of his service and quality was the "Wow" I got from my daughter (and that she got from her co workers). -

To chime into the other rave reviews of this lovely flower shop, Buckets is without a doubt the best. Their arrangements consistenly provoke reactions along the lines of "these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen!" and make the giver feel as though their money was very well spent. I have never seen an arrangement from Buckets that wasn't absolutely gorgeous and vibrant. In addition, their flowers seem to be particularly healthy/sturdy, because the arrangements also seem to last longer than your average arrangement. Michael at Buckets is a joy to work with, is very nice and always accomodating. If you want to buy me flowers... go to Buckets :)

I, like many other Yelpers, have sent our business to Buckets due to their resounding positive reviews. I am here to testify once again the 5/5 stars is justified! I called Michael this morning at 7:30am to delivery a nice birthday bouquet to a previous coworker of mine in Seattle. Within 90 minutes of my phone call, the birthday girl called and emailed me with pictures of her most beautiful and exotic floral arrangement. I was quite impressed with the diversity and character of the bouquet, especially when I was sending the gift to someone with a refined floral eye. Thank you Michael!

Tiny little place located near the harbor steps. I wandered in one day almost by accident and fell in love with the floral designs here. They do tightly clustered arrangements that are on the smaller side, but perfectly arranged. Similar to Fiore or Fleurish, but more affordable. If you really want to give someone a gorgeous, unique flower arrangement and not another generic FTD bouquet, this is the place.

I won't give Buckets anything less than 5 stars because they're great. They're fantastic. They're friendly. They're helpful. Gosh darnett, people like them! I called them up to ask for help on a "manly" floral gift and Michael suggested a smaller orchid which worked out perfect for the desk situation it was going to be in. He was super patient with me as I debated what to do and then gave me a call to follow up after his orchid shipment came in. He got me a lovely chartreuse orchid and had it delivered speedy quick like a ninja florist. It was a great surprise and I called them back to thank them. This place has great service and beautiful flowers. They do our work flowers every week and they definitely brighten our office. SO much better than trying FTD or Teleflora! Go with the real folks!

my boyfriend surprised me at the office w/ a bouquet from buckets. they were beautiful!! just beautiful!! The flowers were fresh & fragrant. And one of the best arranagements i've seen around town. they also lasted quite awhile. Quality i tell ya...he did a good job. Thumbs up!

Mikes Buckets is a small little hole-in-the-wall floral shop that i love walking past whenever i get the chance. Green walls adorned with their buckets of flowers just make the place a sight for sore eyes. i order a lot of flowers here for work and he puts together the most intimate and tasteful arrangements. Michael provides the most friendly and personnable service which keeps me coming back everytime.

After finding about Buckets on Yelp I put a call in to Michael to get an arrangement for my best friend who was having a horrible week - it was a "floral 911" as Michael referred to it. I called after hours and he got back to me about 10 minutes after he opened the next day. Helpful all the way through, he took initiative with the design of the arrangement and the drop-off, all I had to do was tell him my price range and her address. She later sent me a picture of them and they looked wonderful! Will definitely use again.

Michael is an artist. He produces a product which you can not purchase online. You simply talk to him, talk about the person(s) who the flowers are for, and he creates something personal and unique. I think it's the personal touch that makes these flower arrangements special. I am very pleased and will continue to use Buckets.
