My husband and I had vouchers and decided to eat lunch here.

He had fettuccini and I had mushroom tortellini in crème wine sauce. We tried each others and both pastas were fab-u-lous.

We also had coffee which was tasty. Our server was sweet and the open feel to the restaurant was really pleasant.

either I need to get used to quebecois or the doorman was terribly impolite. perhaps because I just came in for a latte, which was terrible :p I ended up pouring it away on the street. Not the reward I was hoping for as a reward for eluding the starbucks across my hotel

It was good. They understood English, which was great. And their size large is huge. It was served in a bowl topped off with a maple leaf design in the foam. Cute! I'd come here again, definitely loved spending my morning here drinking my gigantic Latte and using the free Super Fast Wi-fi waiting for everything else to open.

Went there late at night and I'm sure the servers were very tired after a long wait and unfortunately we had just missed the kitchen so we couldn't order any food. They had a few handful of desserts (that were left over since no one wanted them). I guess I can't really blame them for this but it just didn't turn for a good experience. The servers were cranky and not very friendly and the coffee was a little bland although I could see the Cafe Tatum had some potential.

Although I must say the store is actually pretty cool. They have over 50 different kinds of coffee and 30 types of tea, lots of choices but a bit expensive ($5.50 for large coffee n whipped creme), they have an upstairs which unfortunately was closed off to us but would seem interesting otherwise.

Given any other situation I'm sure I would have given this place 4 stars but based on this experience it wasn't to be.
