Good place for a reliable meal... that's why you go to a chain, right? We had lunch there and my halibut sandwich with yam fries was delicious! Will definitely be back.

I like the food at Brown's but this location is just too small. It always feels jam packed and my biggest pet peeve is the entrance. There is NO room to turn around and if you don't want to stand outside to wait for a table you'll be packed like a sardine in the front amongst hosts and waitresses going through you.
The bar... hmmm, that's the smallest bar I've seen in my life, maybe seats 4??? -

Good food and good service.
Came here for brunch yesterday. Table for two and we were seated right away when we arrived at 1130am. Ordered the Prosciutto Breakfast Bun which was very tasty with a fried egg, prosciutto, sauce, on a soft warm slilghtly-sweet Chinese bun. Hashbrowns were good too.
Definitely like this Browns! Will come back for sure.
NOTE: There's parking right on the side of Browns, but its only for one hour so make sure you don't get a parking ticket. -

I have long wanted to walk along Londsdale here in N. Van and check out the shops, cafe's and Restaurants. There are a few trips worth to check out, it seems.
We chose Browns because of the patio in partial sun. That's my excuse for choosing a Chain place. The menu looked good. A nice variety. We had Pad Thai, and a Burger with fries. I must be on a Fries kick or something! They were soooo yummy. Pad Thai was good too. Oh ya and the Burger was juicy good.
This isn't the best place to people watch but it was pleasant enough. Browns has a reputation to uphold, and I guess this location was their first place.
They do alright and the service was good too. -

An okay choice when I just want a hunk of cow and some robust red wine; or a stir fry. I'm hard of hearing so the noise doesn't bother me and the service is usually friendly.
Honestly, though, I've not been here since I found Deuce down the street. Perhaps the next time I'm in the mood for cow ... -

Good thing I was hungry and had take away cause I would have sent it back I was dissatisfied with my lunch; Blacken chicken wonton soup... The quality of the ingredient must have changed to keep their costs down... I know the other locations have kept up with the companies over all quality thats why it still gets a 3 stars
