Review from Jay M.

The fantastic clothes and accessories they sell here would warrant 4 stars alone, but the incredible service really puts Brooks Brothers head and shoulders above other clothing stores.
Some of the clothes are slightly overpriced, but (in my opinion) these are some of the snazziest and most fashionable clothing in all of Vancouver.
I was a slightly intimidated at first inside Brooks Brothers, but the incredibly helpful staff truly went above and beyond to make my experience very pleasant. I told them what I was looking for, and they were very swift in finding exactly what I wanted. Some of the items they didn't have in my size, but they went ahead and ordered the items in for me from their warehouse.
After everything arrived I received a letter in my mailbox from the associate who helped me, inviting me to come back whenever, and to phone them if I had any questions or concerns. What a nice little touch.
Fantastic clothes, Fantastic service...what else do you need? -
Review from Herman E.
I walked into Brooks Brothers when it first opened a couple of years ago and had a peek around. The store was clean, new, and very brightly lit. I didn't care for much of what I saw. Too conservative, too ivy league preppy, too Ralph Lauren, and too Tommy Hilfger. It wasn't my style. It's the Northeastern USA private college, university, and country club look.
So for curiosity, I walk in again today to see if anything has changed in the past couple of years. The staff let me browse around without intruding on me too much. I like it this way.
However, I still have the same opinion. It's not my style. Even with the slim fit silhouette on their products, I still don't like the look.
This time, however, I took the time to look at the weave/cloth quality of the suits. I was rather disappointed at what I saw. For a suit that is upwards of $1000, the weave was not up to par. It was not anywhere near a superfine weave, creating a soft feel to the touch, at least not for the ones that I looked at and felt. If there were any available in the store, I did not come across it. Some of the suits had labels indicating that it was Italian fabric, which I'm sure it was. It just wasn't the BEST Italian fabric. I've seen and felt better. Very disappointing.
I can't attest to service of the staff and the actual tailoring of the suits. Once I didn't like the fabric, that was a deal breaker on the suits.
Nothing wrong with the store or the stuff they sell. It's not for me.
I think I'm too opinionated when it comes to clothes.Listed in: "Hey! Be a man! Do the right…

This could be very well my new favourite men's clothing--the staff nowhere as snooty or snotty, whichever way to spell it, as this both applies to Holt Renfrew lol. Just been opened at this former duty free shop 3 years ago, that Armerican icon BB has been in here & first time for me stepping in. quite impressed by the decor, classy.
in fact, i recognized a few ex-harry rosen guys here too.
You're not going to find any designer name brands but you're paying for better quality for an italian fabric; $1000 for a no-name, better threads, or $750 for a Hugo Boss, less quality.
Very spacious and not as hectic busy as the rest, so maybe better service.
Gents, they're having a custom-made suit sale in a few weeks, starting at $1100.... -

Always stellar service. My favorite work wardrobe comes from BB. The non-iron tailore fit shirts are perfect for everyday and literally carefree! The service is curteous but not intrusive. They often have good sales. Nice fitting and well made suits and the in-house tailor does a great job! I like the shopping experience to be simple and straight forward wth no fuss, BB is one of those perfect places.

Never, never, never try on pants without shoes. I thought the pants were okay when I picked them up, but ... not so much. They put cuffs on them, but did not give me the proper full break I asked for. This is a shame because the tailoring on the jacket was superb. Fortunately my business trip was to the US where everyone wears their pants too short so I fit right in.
So, downgrade to three (and that only because the jacket was so good). I really cannot in good conscience suggest anyone come here for trousers. The tailoring staff do not seem able to follow directions. Shame, really as the price / quality balance seemed pretty good.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Nice fitting, well made suits. I like the jfk line of suits. I haven't bought anyother of their line and I probably won't, I'm a creature of habit and these do the job for the mon-fri. good looks for business not so much for pleasure.
