It's commonly joked that the British have bad teeth.
And while most of the Brits I've encountered have had fine teeth in my estimation, the stereotype persists for some reason.
I think I now have the reason.
If the British Pantry is in any way representative of the contents of an average Brit's pantry, it's a wonder they have any teeth at all!
We're talking about a mountain of sugar. I felt my own teeth ache a little as I took in their ample selection of candies, jams, cakes, cookies, and confectionery.
As a change of pace (gotta level out the blood sugar somehow!), they offer a fine selection of teas, crisps, and a modest selection of meat pies and sausages, or "bangers", as I believe them to be called.
So, if you've got a sweet tooth left in your head (I kid!), then bring it to the British pantry for a taste of the Queen's finest treats.

This is a fun place to browse, especially if you've been to the UK.  However, I do find a few items pricey and even though I have intentions of purchasing something whenever I visit the store, it tends not to happen.  I stopped by about a month ago and what I did think was amusing was the Coronation Street merchandise.  I used to watch the show as a kid (that's what "farmer vision" had to offer) and I know older adults that still do.  Something like this would be a novel gift for a fan.

Good selection of British goods and don't worry about the conversion rate, the prices are high enough you know you're getting authentic stuff.

The only puzzling thing about this place is that some of the products you can buy here for half the price. Like Cadbury chocolate cookies. Here they sell for $22, when you can buy the same thing (Canadian version) for $10. I know they're from England, but I'm quite sure they'd taste the same. Or maybe not. Maybe there's more fat in them, or maybe they taste blander, that's the British way after all...

But these guys do have a good selection of unique British items. Like tabloids, marmite potato chips, cornish pastys and tea. But no tea infusor, so don't ask.

If you're British and you're still paid in pounds, you'll love British Pantry. If you're Canadian, it's worth a look around....

This place is kind of weird.  It's pretty cool, but weird... and I like it!

It's got a bunch of different British candies and goodies.  It's kind of fun to just walk around in there and check out all the different things different cultures enjoy... it's actually really neat.  Like, to me, a sweet sugar dip shouldn't go with a licorice dipper, but they make it work and it tastes good!

The prices do seem to be a little steep for the kind of stuff it is, but it's unique and foreign so it's almost worth it.  Christopher W. is right when he says you can get some of the same things here for waaay cheaper elsewhere.

It's also got some funny jag gifts and cards in the place; a small section is dedicated to non-food related items.  I was a little disappointed to see that the worker-lady wasn't British.  That was sad.  But she was nice, so it was cool in there anyways!
