Why 5 stars? Because as simple as it was, it might have been our most memorable eating experience in Munich.

This kind of reminded me of the Auntie Anne's of Germany, but oh-so much better. With that statement, you'd probably assume that their pretzels are amazing, but honestly, I prefer Auntie Anne's. The pretzel here was fine, but AA's is the ultimate comfort food, IMO. The star of the show were the potatoes.
Potatoes mashed right in front of you with sour cream and cheese. We could have added even more toppings, but that's all my wife wanted. It was absolutely amazing and perfect. As I write this review, I'm regretting not going back here for round two before we left.
The reason I compared it to Auntie Anne's despite having vastly different pretzels is because it was in a small kiosk in the train station, and looked like the kind of place that would be anywhere that kiosks exist.
This was the first place we visited after getting to Munich, so we had a bit of culture shock when realizing that not everyone who worked here spoke English. There was one person behind the counter who did, and she was very friendly/helpful!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Lisa W.Munich, Germany31125May 13, 2016Updated review
As I am Working nearby I stopped by at Brezelina in my lunchbreak to get me something warm to eat.
I decided to go for mashed potatoes with sour cream and roasted onions on top.
What First irritated me, was that the Woman who prepared my meal mixed the sour cream into the mashed potatoes and didn't put it in top.
Next was, that she didn't put any spices into it. So it tasted like nothing.
Cup a Soup would have been more delicious and Even way cheaper as you pay 3,70€ for mashed potatoes with 2 toppings at Brezelina...

Great place where to grab a good Brezn with different tasty fillings. I had a Zopf with Schweinebraten and a Bretzel with Rucola which were both really good and fairly priced. Service is quick and friendly.

Mashed potato, topped with the most amazing variety!
That's what got me, as I walked by. The pretzels looked good, and the smell was heavenly, but the potato got me.
Creamy, flavorful, smooth, so delicious. And nicely warming on a rainy summer afternoon, down here in the passage-way.
Enjoy!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Angela G.Elmhurst, United States1013110Jan 5, 2019
Average chive cream cheese pretzel. Good if you're in a rush and need a quick snack/light lunch.

Mashed potatoes, with your choice of add-ins, to go. Brilliant. And cheap. And delicious.
