Review from Kate W.
Vancouver, BC
I've been coming for years and it's still as expensive as always :)
They've switched up their tasty veggie sandwich (the whole reason I come) and it's even better than before.
Not totally reasonable they change $26 for a pizza, but hey, this isn't meant to be a place toy come everyday! One quick snack here while passing through town is all you can afford.. But boy oh boy that home made roasted pepper garlic sauce goes down easy! -

Of all the places I ate on my four day trip on Vancouver Island, Breaker's really stands out (and please read that as oawwt).
My two friends and I were informed while getting ready for our Islands tour that we needed to have food with us. Say what? We were certain we would starve when the tour guide mentioned Breaker's across the street. We figured that any food was better than no food.
I don't remember exactly what we ordered, but I do remember returning two more times in the next 24 hours to satisfy our Breaker's cravings. Great coffee, snacks and full-on meals. -

Service is soooooooooo slooooooooooooow.
Breakers is good, but the sandwiches are pretty expensive. I'd mostly come here for baked goods because they have great brownies. -

Normally I wouldn't review a deli / sandwich shop with only a bar at the window to sit at, but I MUST give props to the pulled pork philly. My word is it delicious.

They make a decent latte but it's pretty expensive. Cookies are pretty tasty too. Service is slow but friendly. Overall, pretty good but kind of expensive, even for Vancouver/BC/etc.

i've eaten at breakers many times over the years and the quality has gone downhill. this place sources decent ingredients but charges you an arm and a leg for your meal. i know it caters to the tourist crowd but i really think you can find better value for money in town.
the one standout is their burritos. they are pricy but they taste pretty damn good. -
Review from Rob C.
Good, but not amazing. Don't try to order a sandwich without one of the ingredients - it becomes a big production!
