Brant Florist is one of the oldest and most established florists in Burlington. They provide exceptional service and hours - including after hours telephone ordering if you need it. From what I can tell, they are one of a few florists that accept Interac as a payment choice and if memory serves they even accept new payment options like PayPal too. With literally thousands of gift and flower options it can be quite overwhelming to choose. Luckily the staff are super helpful and will answer any questions you may have. Love these folks. They did our wedding flowers, and did a really fantastic job, even with our fairly nontraditional requests (and went /way/ above and beyond with our buttonieres, which were truly stunning). It wasn't an especially large order, but they treated us like we were their biggest customers.
We also regularly use them for sending flowers, and they have a really nice wide selection - not just twenty colours of roses, iris, gerbera daisies and carnations like you get in some shops. Flowers from them also last a good long time, which I appreciate (hate spending the $$ for fresh flowers only to have them look crappy by morning).

History
Established in 1961
Brant Florist was started by Ethel Jones and her husband. The Bolt family took over in 1977.
Elaine and Ken Bolt operated the business until 2003 when sons Doyle and Tim took over ownership.
The business was originally located at 412 Brant St in a small building that was demolished in 1981 to make way for an expansion of city hall. Today the business is located 2 blocks up the street at 461 Brant St and it also occupies the building next door at 2010 Maria Street.
The 2 buildings provide about 6000 sq ft and provide a good base for the larger business today which has many staff members and strong internet presence. The business is fully computerized which tracks all orders and customers all over the world!
Meet the Manager: Ken B.
Owned and operated Brant Florist with wife Elaine from 1977 to 2000. Business now owned by sons Doyle and Tim.
Ken is a university graduate and held design and managerial positions in industry prior to taking over Brant Florist. Ken has a consulting role today and manages the web online presence for the business.
