Intimate and friendly cafe directly on the seawall. Live music in the evenings. Friendly local bar to drop in for a libation. :)

View Fantastic, Service Below Average, Food was better in the past but still A-Ok.
I noticed something had changed with the server showed us a photo copied menu most of the lamb/ and all halibut choices crossed out with a ball point pen. Menu says the Salmon was wild but I had my doubts.
The Salmon entree I ordered was served with gummy risotto instead the great Greek potatoes I remember eating the last time I was here. I wound up ordering a Greek salad which was very good and saved the meal. Sadly this place appears to be in the decline but the location & View are still outstanding.
Great place to bicycle to. On the sea wall bike with racks near the entrance. -

Something has drastically changed. I am not sure if they've changed the chef, but food was close to ok-some not even authentic as what it claims to be. I would go for drinks/dessert, but not for mains. View is still there. This is pretty disappointing because now I no longer have a favourite place to go in Vancouver!

I think this place has great potential but my brunch experience left me wanting more. Our reservation was for 11am. We were taken to our table and left there until about 11:15am when our waiter finally asked us if we would like some drinks. Sat around some more, finally gave our orders, only to have a one of the orders not be right when the waiter brought us the food. I must commend the waiter though because he was quick to fix the mistake. I ordered the chicken suvlaki and I found it rather plain and boring. I was impressed with their pancakes and kept stealing bites from my sister's plate.
This is a very small restaurant and even though it wasn't packed, I found our waiter just couldn't keep up with the limited tables he had. We waited at least 15 minutes to pay our bill and by the time we left I was frustrated and just done with being there. -

2.5 stars.
Agree with Adam H. and Stephanie S... the service here is terrible!
The location is great - right on False Creeek, next to Monk McQueens - with added bonuses of being not busy for brunch and free street parking!
My girlfriends and I are continuing to try out different brunch places in the city and came here this weekend. Smaller menu with bennies and omelets. I went with the ham, brie and mushroom omelet and all their brunch items come with a small salad, crispy hash browns, and baguette style toast. Reasonably priced at $11-14/item. Food quality was good but I prefer my omelets to have a bit more stuff and less egg.
Unfortunately, the service was terrible. We were there for a couple of hours and at most there were 3 tables full during that period. The server never checked in on us once he dropped off the food, meaning that we had to keep flagging him down for more water and coffee. Duh... you'd think that he'd have clued in after the second time that he should check in? -

Best food in Vancouver. Great wines. Friendly people. Lovely music come weekends. Very romantic little spot. Try the calamari, souvlaki, pita & dips.

Agreed this is the best spot on stamps landing. Can't figure out why it wasn't busier. Calamari was crazy good, beet goat cheese salad was great and souvlaki was tops. Great patio on the marina with a sunset and a nice wine list. It really is a great little place. Only drawback I can see was the small bathrooms, but if you're going to a restaurant for the can, you've got issues that are best kept to your home throne.

I went for dinner with a friend on a lovely thursday evening. While the location is spectacular and the ambience was good, the service was abominable. My drink order was forgotten completely until a reminder 10 minutes later and the food order took about 40 minutes to come out. During that time the server didn't once stop by our table. Once our food came it was plopped down on our table by another server and no one came to our table again until they cleared our plates.
My meal was quite tasty, lamb souvlaki on a pita (~$10). But no better than I've had at many fast food Mediterranean places in town and the salad it came with was pretty dull. My friend's mushroom ravioli ($19) was noticeably under-cooked and the sauce was watery, though you could tell the recipe had potential.
All-in-all I expected much better from a relatively high-end joint, especially in the service department. It wasn't noticeably busy and we were essentially ignored unless we waved someone down.
Based on other reviews it seems like this must have just been an off night, but I thought it worth reporting. -

By far the best restaurant of the three at Stamps Landing. Really great food. The Saganaki stuffed deep fried olives for appetizer were mouth watering and the Mediterranean Mixed Platter for two was excellent. The Calamari had some kind of spice on it that made it particularly zesty. Yum.
The wait staff was dedicated. It almost felt like they were the owners themselves and they had a real interest in making sure everything was just right.
The mixture of Russian and English songs by the live musician provided a great touch to a wonderful atmosphere.
Great job guys. Very highly recommended. -

Excellent dinning experience and very good service with an amazing view of the city. there were four of us so we had quite alot of side dishes, kalamari was tender and had the right crunch, and the tzatziki is probably one of the best in town, also the spicy feta dip is really good as well. but what really impressed me was the mussels and clams in white wine sauce, cant wait to go back for more.

Went for a launch to the new restaurant in False Creek and loved it. The bennies were delicious! Want to try their dinner menu. We made a reservation after seeing their dinner menu. The staff is amazing and food is delisious! Music and water view is great.
