The Boyle McCauley Health Centre serves clients in the inner city, mostly for medical appointments, but also providing some services specifically geared to low-income and homeless people BMHC is run by Capital Health, meaning the people who work there are trained professionals like doctors and nurses. As well, BMHC has services for people with HIV and addictions. Waiting times for appointments can be very long because of the demand, so ths is not really a place where the average person living downtown would want to head for a general medical appointment. However, the second floor has numerous rooms which can be used for meetings and can be rented for a small charge.
