Review from Farees K.
If I were going to open a store, this is how I would do it.
Nice relaxed decor, inviting and not sterile. Good selection without being overwhelming. Free tastings of selected beers and wines. Overstaffed with young knowledgable people who will look something up if they do not know.
As a hop head, they had an impressive collection of IPA's and I will definitely become a regular.
My only complaint is the wierd name that I can't remember anytime I recommend this place. -

Cold beer and wine stores are generally smaller but this place is definitely cozy. But that doesn't mean the selection hasn't been carefully put together.
I've always enjoyed the "Joey's" restaurant brand over the other trendy casual dining chain restaurants and I think they've succeeded in diversifying their brand into this little store that is tucked underneath their Lougheed Highway "Joey's" location.
I went in to get some southern whiskey and to my surprise their selection included a few that I don't normally see at the government liquor store. The staff member was quite knowledgable and in addition to describing how each one tasted, he had some for tasting! That made my decision both easier and more difficult (in a good way of course), but I settled on one and will be back again to get the runner-up bottle.
In addition to tastings, they also have a points card you can sign up for that sends you a deal on your birthday. Also it knocked off $2 on my first purchase. Not bad.
Again it's located inside the mall on Lougheed Highway where Save-on-Foods/Winners is. The closest parking lot entrance is the one off Lougheed Highway if you're driving westbound. If you're going eastbound, you're going to have to enter through a different entrance and find your way to P1. There's ample parking spaces and the store is literally 5 steps away from the parking lot. -

This is were my empty vodka bottles go to heaven. These other reviews sound like advertising. sheesh this is a normal licker store, brosef. I reserve 5 stars for business that really impress me Farees K. and Henry W. Farees' only complaint is that he has a short term memory, haha clown. Bye more Vodka.

This store is the best. You can find a great bottle of wine no matter what your price range. The staff is extremely knowledgable, friendly and helpful. They are full of great suggestions but aren't pushy. The store is spotless and they have lots of wines available to sample.
Specialties
Bottle Jockey specializes in delicious wines under $30 that you won't find in the government liquor stores. We also have a great selection of craft beer and specialty spirits.
