I strolled into BP for the first time in a year after practically living in it for close to two. Was glad to see the same friendly staff, big ol' schooners of Keith's, and respectably good food, particularly for the price.
While I likely won't back soon due to geographical challenges, I'd recommend it to anyone over in SE Saskatoon in need of a beer and a snack. Just look at the calendar first to see if there is a Rider game on, the place turns into a nuthouse (like every other bar in the province).
I've moved several times, and this is the first time I've missed having a chain restaurant nearby. That says it all for me. -

Great sports bar environment. Worst service in Saskatoon. Don't go if you are thirsty. After one beer you become invisible. Calling it poor service would be generous.

I usually think this BP's is pretty decent but the last time I went in around 2 on a Saturday and it was dead but we still had to wait around for our bimbo server and to top it off it smelled HORRIBLE in the restaurant. We ordered the spinach & artichoke dip as well as the ribs. They smelled terrible to the point where I had a bite of the dip and had to run to the bathroom to throw it up. I don't want to judge quite on one horrible 1 star experience so I gave it a 2 based on previous visits. Will not be going back to this one!
