Generally, if I want BPs, I go to this BPs. I've been going here since high school and the place has never let me down! The food always comes out perfect. Most of the staff go the extra mile to make sure your food is spot on, which for me is wonderful (I always have some modification or other I'd like).
I really wish they had some of the other menu options offered in other locations across western Canada though ... like the twist bread! Love that stuff.
I don't eat out very often any more, but I have a soft spot for this specific BPs. -

Lazy, lazy food. This isn't my first time to BP's, actually I've been many times, too many to count.
However for some reason I'm seeing a very drastic move towards lazy and uninspired food. The roast beef on my beef dip tasted like the cheap processed roast beef from a grocery store deli. The bread was the same baguette that they use for all their other sandwiches.
Two of the guys with me ordered the steak sandwich, I'm sure it tasted fine, but boy did it look boring.... Meat, fries, bread....
To drink I ordered a Guinness knowing that they didn't have it on tap, but I assumed that they would know how to poor it so you don't get 3" of head. I guessed wrong.
Boston Pizza is a Canadian staple and I really hope they get their menu figured out or else they are going to start losing out to a lot of the newer and more creative chain restaurants that are entering the market place. -

I go to this Boston Pizza a lot, but this last time out I was extremely disappointed.
We went here on Valentines Day and figured it would be busy because of their "heart shaped pizza" promotion. We just wanted a bite to eat so we sat in the lounge. We waited a little while and the waitress came to our table to get a drink order. I hadn't decided yet so I asked for water and the waitress rolled her eyes at us when she walked away. Oooh. Thanks.
It took about 5 minutes to get water to the table at which point we had decided on drinks and food. She hurriedly asked for our order and barely made eye contact. She also didn't smile once. I had ordered a diet pepsi and she brought me a pepsi. I ended up drinking it because our waitress took forever to come back.
We ordered a starter wings and I ordered a thin-crust mutli grain pizza and my boyfriend ordered a burger with fries and gravy. We frequently ran out of drinks and we had our appetizer plate piled high long before another waitress came and took a drink order and cleared our plates.
Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, but the pizza was not thin crust. When I asked our waitress about this she said they didn't even have thin crust. Well.. this would have been good to know when I ordered a thin crust pizza. My boyfriend's fries were cold and there was no gravy to be found. Finally, a manager came by our section and we were able to ask for fresh fries and the gravy he had ordered. It took a while for the food to come out, but it eventually came out piping hot.
Now, I understand it was valentines day, and therefore very busy, but there was no reason why our waitress couldn't put a smile on her face. It is a good thing we were not out looking for a nice experience. She would have ruined it. -

I love coming to this particular Boston Pizza. I've eaten here over 100 times and they've never made a disappointing meal. Also, the waitresses are friendly and well trained so we always have a good time.
