It's probably the used book store in Ottawa with the best selection.
The store is just packed full of books and one of the best things about this store is that they often have more than one version of the book you're looking for which isn't all that common in other used book stores.
I was just in here before Christmas and found the staff to be quiet and not exactly overly friendly. I was amazed though by the selection and the different floors.
You can find some good bargains here but at the same time some of their other books aren't all that cheap even for being used. I was looking for a biography that was originally released about five or six years ago and they were asking only about $3 less than the original value. -

The Book Market on Dalhousie has to be the biggest used bookstore I have ever been to. Before I had been inside, I assumed that it was just one floor, but there are actually three levels PLUS a basement full of books!
You can find anything here, I was amazed. I think the sections are even more broken down than in regular bookstores. For example there were even sections on specific methods of parenting and on several different diseases.
It's also kind of funny to see what has been popular throughout the years, by the number of copies that they have here.
I did find some of the prices a bit high, considering that the books are used. But this store does pay you for your used books when you are done with them.
Go here only if you have some time on your hands, you can definitely get lost!
