I love this Book City. They've got a huge wall of magazines, lots of display tables of books to catch your eye and even some pretty cute greeting cards and little gift books.
I must admit the bargain bins out front always call my name. But i never end up buying anything from them. I need to really test my will power when entering any book store. So i only allow myself to go in and browse if there is something specific i'm looking for. The variety is good here. I've found some titles here that I didn't find down the street at the Coles. If you are looking for something different than the current bestsellers, try Book City. -

This location offers a beautiful back courtyard in which to sit and preview books/magazines prior to purchasing. You simply walk to the rear of the store and will see a set of glass patio doors leading to a small courtyard with a few scattered chairs, choose wisely. In summer months this is a special oasis that shouldn't be missed, and could quite possibly be one of the best kept secrets on Queen St. E.
