I always avoiding this place because I felt it was intimidating due to the gorgeous window displays of rich looking clothing. One day I thought I would check t out and if it was overpriced I would just pretend I could afford things.  I did my usual quick glance around to see if  anything jumped out at me...Well it was too hard to decide. beautiful garment after beautiful garment kept calling my name...."Try me on"...."I am on sale"....I was getting dizzy.   Soon after I found out they do lay-a-way and consignment...Wha...?   Awesome. ...best of all ..it wasn't expensive or overpriced.   Your typical 1970s t shirt waS about 15-$20..extravagant Coats and fake fur modern-ish Jackets 30-$100.....And yes good shoes and boots!

Every time the bus stops in front of this shop, I mean to get out and check them out. I finally did! The entrance is full of funky stuff (i.e. not street wear, for me anyway), but farther in there is a huge array of different clothes, including a BCBG blazer on the $10 rack (not my size! boo hoo!). Plenty of kilts as well ... In addition to clothing both street and dress-up, they have some gorgeous costume jewelry, a nice selection of handbags, and they are a great place to stock up for a costume event. I scored OPI nail polish for $5 from a small collection, and made a mental note to return when I had more time to putter around.

This is one of my fave places on main st to check out... I've found some real jewels in this rough of a thrift store so I highly recommend going on a day when you have nothing but time to look through the huge masses of clothing EVERYWHERE! When you first walk in you see the more trendy side of things, including brands such as Ed Hardy etc. They have stuff all over the place but not a whole lot of sizing going on so you really have to dig and get your hands right in there. Their shoe selection is astounding! I think I've gotten three or four pairs from them throughout time... Their prices are also very good.

Upstairs you'll find The Loft which houses their mens clothing and shoes as well as womens shoes, vintage, lingerie and a funky designer area where the owner showcases a local designer who makes modern clothing out of pieced together vintage finds. Some of this designers stuff is totally out there so its a ton of fun to go upstairs and peruse around slowly. Its a fun store overall and you're more then likely to find something.

This is an awesome used clothing store. I have picked up quite a few bargains in my time shopping here such as a gorgeous tan coloured handbag in real, soft leather for only $20. This is one of my prized wardrobe pieces, as is a cute little knitted gold shrug I found that has a sparkle weave throughout and which was only about $15. I also nabbed a very unique vase once. It's hard to describe: a frosted glass v-shaped vase with a round gold and clear neck and flat base. It proudly sits on my mantle with a candle inside so I can use it as a lamp. This was only $30.

There is both an upstairs as well as a downstairs at Bohemia Gallery, which makes for quite a large store. Be sure to check out both. Upstairs there are some great jewellery finds as well as some retro-inspired bags and accessories.

I highly recommend Bohemian Gallery on your next used-clothing shopping spree.
