Famous sculptor, Walter Seymour Allward's tribute to the South African war is an often overlooked statue in the city.
It's steep steps are a great place (in the summer) to sit and eat your lunch while the traffic of University whizzes by you on either side.
In the summer it also features a really nice fountain, which give the city a bit of....classy-ness.
I love it because I love the woman's arm reaching out and pointing west. A real delicate feature.Listed in: CHEAP Toronto
