Review from Corey D.
When I find something I like, I stick with it. For a while. 6 days to be exact over a two week period. Hey, what can I say, Bobbette & Belle won me over on my first trip, so when it came to a sweet snack in Leslieville in an incredible environment, I didn't feel the need to go anywhere else!
Let's start with the atmosphere... amazing! It's modern, it's rustic, it's a little "country kitchen" with furniture that reminded me a bit of the Cracker Barrel chain in the states, I loved everything about it. Wall hanging were carefully placed, there's resin art done by an individual not too far from the shop, and the colours are so pleasing, it was easy to work there hours on end. People come and go, either to grab a coffee beverage, cupcake or another tempting pastry, and some folks (like me) stuck around, powered up laptops and worked for a bit. They have free WIFI which made me feel like there was no rush to get me out the door, I appreciate that in a place that's more bakery than cafe.
The cupcakes are awesome, I'm willing to say some of the best I've had. They won't be for everyone though. I didn't find them too sweet at all. The cake is really light and the frosting is an airy butter-cream, not a loaded-with-sugar dense mess. My favourite after 6 tries (yes I tried 6 cupcakes in two weeks) the banana for sure! The cake was a bit more dense than others, almost like a banana bread and the chocolate frosting on top was insane! Rich, creamy, again not too sweet, just right really!
I think my favourite part of the place though was the fact that every day I was there, at least one couple was chatting with a shop owner about their wedding cake. Ever witness one of those conversations? Couples are so happy, so looking forward to their special day. As they sample cake bites and frosting flavours eyes light up with the realization that soon two will become one. Call me lame, call me a romantic, it was just nice to set myself up in a really great environ full of so much positivity! -

Finally made it out here with a heads up from another Yelper (Yvonne T.) and thank you so much. It was worth the trip and my girlfriend loved it. She loved the place, the sweets, the atmosphere there and just loved everything. I was told the macarons are great here so we had to get those but then added a coffee, red velvet cupcake and a butter tart.
The coffee: just perfect. I generally drink my coffees black so usually I get them stupid hot which I'm not really a fan of causing me to have to wait like 15 minutes before I can really enjoy my coffee. This coffee machine made to basically the perfect temperature and I could drink it pretty much immediately and it tasted great. This was by far for me anyway, my favorite thing we had there. I don't really have a sweet tooth but my girlfriend loves sweets.
The macaroons, originally I was planning on trying a few different kinds but ended up just getting a couple chocolate ones and they were very good. Again I don't really have a sweet tooth but I really enjoyed it. Next time I'll have to try other flavors. Lots of filling just yummy overall.
The Red Velvet cupcake: Straight up, I'm not a huge cake/cupcake fan unless it's made of ice cream. So when I grabbed the cupcake, I didn't really have any expectations. However, the cupcake was super moist. Not overly sweet. The icing, don't even know what kind of icing it was but it wasn't too too sweet. Basically, as far as sweets go, literally the perfect amount of sweet for me and my god, I loved this cupcake. If you don't have a sweet tooth, I would recommend this thing for sure.
Last was a Butter Tart: This thing must have had a cup of sugar in it or something. I could feel the diabetes poking at me because it was so overly sweet. I could only finish a quarter of it and my girl finished almost half but she said it gave her a headache because it was too too sweet. I don't know what we were thinking when we decided to get the butter tart. The 2 macarons and the cupcake with coffee would have been enough. If you have a sweet tooth, check this out because I'm sure some would love it but for me, too too sweet and will never get this again.
For me, I found this place expensive but was told it's on the higher end of normal for a place with exceptional sweets like this. I will definitely come back again but no butter tart next time. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but the butter tart really soured my experience there so 4 it is. -

This is such a cutie place! I love the decor, it makes me want to plan my wedding! (I'm not even engaged yet)
I had macarons here and they were so delicious. My favourite were the gianduja ("filled with a dark chocolate hazelnut ganache") and the milk chocolate caramel ("filled with a creamy milk chocolate ganache combined with handmade salted caramel"). It's $2 each though... It makes a great gift at least!
Their website says there's pistachio macarons, which I SO want to try! But I have never seen it in all the times I went... Maybe I was blind??
I also had their hot chocolate + 2 blow-torched marshmallows $4.50 and it was way too sweet for me. The marshmallows were so creamy and sooooo smooth, that was delicious.
Be sure to visit their blog! You'll fall in love. Make sure to watch the video on how they made them blow-torched marshmallows!! -

I would give Bobbette and Belle 4/5 stars. I love:
the decor, coffee, service, and the macarons (most of the time).
I was dropping into the place on my days off to try another flavor of the macarons. During my last visit, I had the raspberry, salt caramel, and chocolate. I split them with my friend. The first two tasted GREAT. The chocolate was a bit strange in texture and I noticed a detergent taste. Maybe it was dropped, or handled poorly?? I don't know. I'm not a macaron expert or snob, but I'm pretty sure they shouldn't taste like dish washing soap.
So they get 3/5 stars. -

I've been wanting to try this place for so long because I heard they make great macarons and I actually haven't made them since I moved back to TO so I was hoping for some motivation. You walk into this beautiful interior, lovely display of wedding cakes on one wall, open area with several tables and patrons enjoying an afternoon snack.
My eyes went to the macaron display as I walked closer to the colour display of flavours. A few I wasn't sure of but it seemed like salted caramel was the way to go. I was also very impressed by their assortment of cupcakes, marshmallows, and anything apple always wins my heart over.
However, one of the bakers brought out a new tray of (I can't remember the name) shortbread cookies, sandwiched with caramel sauce and coated along the edges with coconut shreds!!!!!!!! Looked delicious and thought it was something I could try baking so I had to taste one for myself.
At first bite, the cookie was buttery, but not overly heavy. It was decadent with oozing caramel sauce but also added bite with the coconut. A perfect combination and lovely presentation. The macaron was pretty good.... i thought it could have had a bit more saltiness flavour to it and the caramel was not too strong either. The texture, if I'm allowed to be picky, was just a tad off perfection, but still cakey like it should be.
Overall, I was very happy that I finally walked into here, and would consider coming back to try their apple tart and other goodies. Definitely a cute little bake shop to satisfy my tastebuds on a weekend afternoon! -

I visited Bobette and Belle on Queen St and ordered 6 different cupcakes. I noticed on entering the store at 4:45pm, 15 min before close, that they were still doing a bustling business. It is a large store, clean, light and has a nice selection and lots of seating.
The cupcakes were absolutely delicious and set the standard for all cupcakes to come which is too bad for the other bakeries I've tried. The red velvet is usually my least fave anywhere but here it was amazing! They use a buttercream cream cheese light airy frosting that is not overpowering and just melts. The cake is moist and divine. The chocolate is excellent. The vanilla is actually light and spongy and not heavy or dense at all like vanilla cakes can be. I tried various other flavors including the salted caramel and all were good. -

This is my third time there. A bit of a line up today and they usually just have one server. The lady in front of me actually left since it was taking longer than expected.
Today I got a mini chocolate banada cake/bread. It was very moist. I didn't use the chocolate sauce on the side. I get the idea, they could have put more choclate in the cake itself but I think it's too much work and messy for people have sauce on the side. It's a good option, but not fo me.
Had a chance to try the coconut pineapple cake too. Yummy! Light and fluffy. Very moist. Not too heavy depending how much cake you're having.
I still think their hazelnut chocolate cake is amazing.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Sweets from Bobbette & Belle aren't just delicious, they are works of art.
Dessert magic, you can't help but be lured in by the rainbow display of macarons and amazingly friendly service.
I decided to go for pistachio and salted caramel macarons as usual.
Crunch.
OMFG.
Top: (( Crispy, light, and delicate ))
Middle: (( Soft, moist, flavorful, plentiful ))
Bottom: (( See top. ))
I couldn't resist trying a cupcake.
Nothing like a simple vanilla cupcake with a vanilla butter cream.
...OK, now THAT is a buttercream.
Probably the richest, thickest, and heaviest buttercream I've ever had.
If you threw a B&B cupcake at someone, you could take out someone out.
But that would be a waste of one of the best cupcakes you'll ever have.
Before leaving, I had to snap a few photos of the cake design display.
The magical cake display rekindles any of those fairytale wedding fantasies that you had as a young girl.
If I ever meet prince charming, there's no happy ending unless I get one of those cakes!!!

these guys honestly just keep getting better and better. My BF's boyfriend recently had a Bobbette & Belle cake for her birthday that looked like a Louis Vuitton bag. It was unbelievable and a total show stopper. Plus it was delicious. The last two weekends I have picked up a dozen or so cupcakes for hostess gifts. They are getting even tastier, and they have fantastic new flavours (like cookies and cream). Please read my last review for details, but I could not love B&B more,

Review from Kat K.
Ordered their macaron cake for my friend's bachlorette (but ended up using it as a birthday cake for one of the BMs instead)
The Macaron cake was pretty good, and you can choose what flavor of Macaron that end up topping the cake too. For this one, you are able to customize to the cake and buttercream, because they use the same cupcake batter for this cake. I went with the vanilla cake with lemon buttercream (which was great) and raspberry & cassis macarons. The cake was consumed a few days later, but it didn't taste stale. The buttercream was a bit hard, but that was probaby due to the refridgeration. I liked the fact that they do tell you how to store their products, if they know it isn't going to be consumed right away. It shows a care and a pride in what they do.
The service here was fantastic, however they are a bit difficult to get ahold of via phone or e-mail; at least that was my experience. You're better off stopping by the store. But they do get back to you, usually within 48 hours.
The space itself is pretty chic, and feels fairly girly. The right front of the store is devoted to dishing out Kawartha Diary Ice cream; while to the immediate back of it, a bookshelf display of their petit fours and special occassion cakes, completely with how they would package their products. Then to the opposite side of the store, where they sell cute cards, as well as their other offerings, like marshmallows and cookies.
The centre of the store is devoted to their pastries, like their famed macarons & cupcakes. They have one refridgerated display case; containing their generic cake offerings (these are display only, so ignore the cracks on the display cake; they won't sell that one to you), creme brulees; and fruit tarts.Listed in: The Cake List, Cupcake Toronto

I love the decor of this place. I finally decided to go in a try their cupcakes - they look delicious.
I purchased the cookies and cream and the peanut butter. There were moist and lovely, but I didn't care for the icing. It tasted like a step up from whipping cream. I prefer denser true buttercream icings.
I took my cupcakes to go, the containers failed to keep the cupcakes upright, so they were destroyed by the time I got home. Still tasty, but I think I'll head down queen street for cupcakes next time I have a craving. -

I've already written an extremely long and detailed review on Bobbette & Belle a while ago. This is my second review on a different visit :)
I decided to order a Ham & Cheese Croissant ($2.50) right away because I was starving, and needless to say, it looked so good behind the glass display. First of all, this croissant was deeeelicious! I still can't get over how great it tasted; really ;D I'm reminiscing the moment I placed it in my mouth as I'm typing this. The exterior was so fantastically crispy, with such a buttery and flakey interior. The ham & cheese was just scrumptious. There was also a sauce inside (béchamel perhaps?) which elevated this croissant to a whole new level - it's like a Godly croissant. The king of all croissants, haha. I know it sounds like I'm over-exaggerating but it was that delicious.
Next up was the Passionfruit macaron ($2) consisting of white chocolate ganache and passionfruit purée. A nice, thin outershell with intense passionfruit flavour bursting out as I bit into it. It tasted extremely fresh and fairly sensational - loved it. I will say right now and here that Bobbette & Belle is ranked second on my macaron list. Who's first, you ask? Of course it's the wonderful La Bamboche Pâtisserie ;) I have 9 posts on them so I guess that proves my undeniable love for them :D
Lastly, I indulged in their Salted Caramel Cupcake ($2). Unfortunately I have to say I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected. I found the cupcake too dense and dry. When there's so much cake, noticing the texture and dryness of it is inevitable. The Salted Caramel frosting was very smooth and I particularly liked the little candied caramel pieces on top. Although that was the case, I was only able to finish maybe half of the frosting because it felt like I was eating a chunk of butter. I've made salted caramel cupcakes myself, so I know how unhealthy it is. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that the frosting on this cupcake was very yummy and not being able to finish it is solely my problem :) I do think the cupcake itself is too dry and dense for my preference though. As to why I chose this flavour, well, I like to compare the quality between different cupcake places ;)
To conclude, I'm still a fan of Bobbette & Belle since I do find their pastries to be tasty and very pretty. I enjoyed everything I ordered there except for the cupcake. I still haven't found my favourite cupcake place yet though!Listed in: Bakeries/Patisseries, Dessert Places

Went to Bobbette & Belle after having brunch at Bonjour Brioche yesterday because I had told my DC about it, and he wanted to check it out.
I had never been to B&B before, but had tasted their macarons because my manager bought me some.
On this, my first visit, I also purchased macarons in the following flavours:
Passion Fruit
Pistachio
Hazelnut & Chocolate
Vanilla
I tried the Passion Fruit one, and it was the tastiest macaron I have ever laid eyes on, and subsequently, devoured! You can taste true fruit flavour, and you can tell that B&B only uses the freshest of ingredients. I have already previously stated that B&B is home to the best macaron. All of their macarons are uniform in size, the cookie itself is the right balance between airy and chewy without being too dry and flaky, and their buttercream/ganache fillings are to die for! The Passion Fruit macaron is hands down the most unique, and yummy that I've had.
I also purchased cupcakes in the following flavours:
Mango
Red Velvet
Their cupcakes are heavenly! They are the moistest cupcakes I have had. Soft, airy, with a melt-in-your-mouth goodness! The Mango cupcake was bursting with fresh mango flavour and is made with a white cake base. The Red Velvet lived up to its namesake and was velvety smooth! I find the buttercream to be a tad heavy, but it was still very yummy.
The only negative thing I have to say about B&B is that they need to either:
1) Design bigger bags
2) Re-design their cupcake boxes
The bag was not big enough to hold the cupcake containers (plastic, and each one holds 2 cupcakes), and as a result, the buttercream frosting was smeared all over the container, and looked awful. I'm just glad I don't have picky friends who are sticklers on presentation.
All in all, albeit being a tad bit on the pricey side ($2.75 for a cupcake), B&B uses only the finest and highest quality ingredients, which you can taste. I would definitely recommend it!
Other product offerings you will find:
Toffee
Meringues
Marshmallows
Cakes
Scones
...and a variety of individual-sized tarts.
I am in love.Listed in: The Best of Toronto, What's the deal?, Gifts for the host(ess), Patisseries et boulangeries…, Splurge-Worthy

Review from Grainne M.
Toronto, ON
I was thinking about my ratings recently and it occurred to me that I'm kind of skewed towards 4 and 5 star reviews. I reckoned it was time to get tougher so I thought about my rating for B&B for ages, wondering if there was a way to subtract stars. I just couldn't do it! I really liked this place.
The store/café itself is gorgeous. It's bright and white with pretty tables and chairs and a cosy couch over by one window. There are cute touches like chandeliers and big glass containers full of meringues as decoration. Examples of fantastically decorated occasion cakes are along one wall. I actually think I might like to live there.
The biggest challenge was choosing what to eat. Everything looked divine. They had a selection of cupcakes, a big carrot cake, quiche, butter tarts, macarons and many more things I can't remember. I was too overwhelmed by greed. I eventually settled on a red velvet cupcake-it's a good test of a cupcakery I think-and we decided to share some macarons. Service was extremely friendly and we settled down to our sugar fest.
I loved my red velvet cupcake. It was light and tasty with a light cream cheese frosting. I had to restrain myself from gobbling it down. Yum! I tried some of the carrot cake which was delicious. The cream cheese was feather light and incredibly creamy and the cake was spicy and flavourful. I thought I might have to sit on my hands to stop myself from digging in and stealing it all. Macarons were also delicious. Sweet and chewy with recognisable flavours. We tried hazelnut and chocolate, chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. The salted caramel was subtle but very tasty. I think chocolate might have been my favourite-as usual!
If I had to nitpick, I might say that I'd have liked my coffee in a real mug instead of a paper cup and real forks instead of plastic. It was good coffee though and crockery and cutlery are not enough to mark it down for. It was a really cosy place to sit and I could imagine happy times sitting there with a book or just watching the world go by. The atmosphere was so nice that we didn't notice the time go by and overstayed our welcome to past 6pm. The girl who had served us was very sweet though and just smiled and wished us a great weekend as we left too late. Sweet people and sweet cakes-how could I not love it?Listed in: Diet busting bakeries (Toronto…

Bobbette & Belle is a cute little pastry bakery store.
It has a more sophicated vibe.. where ladies are all dressed up and sipping their lattes and munching on French pastries..which is quite different than the pastry stores in the area.
I did feel a little out of places in the store with my yoga mat! But what I will do for some macarons.
Salted Caramel/Black Currant/Pistachio (@$2)
- one of the better maracons I have
- crisp outershell and with tons of filling inside
- not super sweet and just enough sweetness to make them a great sugary treat
I was not too excited when the lady just put my priced maracons in a paperbag! They got kind of crushed by the time I ready to eat them.. tasted as good but not good for my photos! -
Review from Denise S.
I came here to use a Groupon ($30 worth of cupcakes for $15), after reading all the great reviews here (thanks Yelpers!).
The place is really airy and spacious, with some limited but very cute seating areas and beautiful cakes on display.
$30 buys a dozen cupcakes, taxes included. I find with most Groupon's it's hard to spend the exact amount, so you always end up paying something extra. So it was nice that it worked out evenly here. The staff were really helpful and put together a box of assorted cupcakes that were freshly baked from the back. I brought them to some gatherings with friends and sampled a few:
- Salted caramel - my favourite! The cake part is a really rich vanilla flavour and the icing was smooth, creamy, and light. I can't say I could really taste much salt.
- Red velvet - loved the cream cheese icing
- Mango - the icing tastes exactly like a mango lassi! Really nice.
- Double chocolate - good, but pretty standard
- Double vanilla - ditto
Other flavours included: cookies and cream, raspberry vanilla, chocolate hazelnut, lemon. The presentation is beautiful; each cupcake has a delicate garnish (e.g. lemon rind, crumbled oreos).
I will definitely be back and want to try the macarons next time!Listed in: The Sweet Escape

Review from Jen C.
I had gone into Bobbette & Belle's new shop to suss out their highly lauded macarons. My first end-of-day experience was lacklustre to say the least. I imagine that since they keep their goods out in the open-air, they dry out rather quickly, so ask when things were made before buying. Both the whoopie pies and the macarons I had were dry and stale. Pretty though.
It wasn't until a second visit that I felt the macarons were up to snuff. While not my favourite in the city, they are very, very, good when fresh.
But really, my great discovery was their raspberry marshmallows - just a bit tart, not too sweet, and divine in a cup of hot chocolate (I had some from Grinder with me). Unanimously enjoyed by all the work peeps. I also tried passionfruit marshmallows (not in hot chocolate!), which were pretty good.
Cupcakes and gorgeous cakes (pre-order) are also available and on display. Some tarts and other goods round things out.
The space is open and lovely, done up perfectly with a rustic elegance. There is limited seating available to eat your treats in the shop, accompanied by the hot chocolate they sell.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

They sell Bobbette & Belle macarons at McEwan's grocery store (Shops at Don Mills) and Holt Renfrew's Gourmet Cafe (Bloor St). I heard that the macarons arrive fresh at McEwan's every Friday morning, so I went in last week for some.
Prices are $2.00 per individual macaron or $10.00 for a pretty box of 5 different flavours. The individual selection featured four flavours, but the box contained one extra flavour. I got the box, which had mocha, passionfruit, pistachio, lychee, and black forest. Macarons always taste great fresh, and this instance was no exception. The shells were light and crisp, and the fillings were moist. The exotic fruit flavours were done very well. I would definitely get these again! If you go to McEwan's to try them, make sure you go between any Friday morning and afternoon so the macarons taste their best! -

My friend had previously told me how blown away she was by the goodies and the interior at Bobbette and Belle so I made a mental note to myself to one day try it.
After a filling lunch, my boyfriend and I were heading to run some errands when I recognized the bakery and he graciously insisted we stop by even though we were so full. Honestly... when I was there, I felt like i was dreaming. The soft colour palette, pretty cakes and pastries, and super nice furniture made me want to stay there forever (I would if i could).
There was a good assortment of goodies and we left with a couple macarons because I would have been sad to have left empty handed. I had hope to stay and eat there but there were no seats left. I look forward to coming back here to try other things like the tarts!Listed in: My Macaron Mission

Visited their new location on Queen Street East. What delightful decorations & color scheme! I'm a big fan of the huge wood dining room table with fresh flowers on it.
I tried their red velvet whoopie pie (yum!) & tried a sample of their salted caramel (subtle, but good). They have Balzac coffee, straight up.
While it might not be their original focus (specialty treats + wedding cakes), it'd be great to be able to have a barista on hand for your fancier coffee drinkers. Also it could be fun to pair with different treats.
I only visited on Day Three so looking forward to going back! -

I dropped by this place after seeing their review on blogTO. This place is absolutely lovely (see pictures).
I had the hot chocolate with a toasted marshmallow. It was rich and the hot chocolate overpowered the marshmallow so I didn't taste much of it. I originally wanted to have the raspberry marshmallow but they ran out..ho hum. I'll have to head back and try it since I've heard good things about it.
The cupcakes were beautiful and I bought a few to share with my sisters.
The mango cupcake was by far the best one. It tasted fresh and not at all artificial. The cupcake itself for some of the flavours was a bit dry and not as moist as I expected but it was inconsistent so maybe it was just the batch. The cupcakes are better than the Cupcake Shoppe (by far) but I still prefer For The Love of Cake.
I didn't get the exact costs of the hot chocolate and cupcakes but for 2 hot chocolates & 5 cupcakes came up to about $26.
I'd go back just to enjoy the store's prettiness and try the other items (sandwiches, scones and macarons) but would skip the cupcakes.Listed in: Fresh Baked Goods & Desserts!

i got the pineapple coconut cake for a birthday. Since it's January and cold, decided to go with a tropical cake selection and pretend it is warm. When I called to place the order, found out they will also add a birthday wish for free.(see photo) which with a nice touch. Contrary to most of the bakeries, this one was spacious and had plenty of room for people to sit and stand around. They didn't need much decoration, since the cakes and cupcakes were enough. Back to the cake, it was delicious...full of coconut flavour and a light pineapple cream. The cake and icing was a bit more dense than I preferred, I expected light and fluffy since it was coconut and pineapple. It reminded me of somewhat like a wedding cake texture. So I liked it, but not my preferred cake texture, hence the three star. While I was waiting for my cake to be boxed, they were putting out a new batch of macaroons and also saw you can get fresh coffee, hot chocolate. I imagine it would be a nice place to spend an afternoon flipping through gossip magazines while sipping on hot chocolate and gulping down the macaroons.

So I gave this store 5 stars for their cakes that we ordered online and had delivered to us. But we just went to the new storefront to try the Macaroons and Cupcakes, so now we'll rate them on these two items.
Macaroons were pretty chewy, we never knew what they were going to taste like, or should taste like. So we can't say whether they are good compared to others or not. But they were fine.
With regards to the Cupcakes. We found the Buttercream Icing used here very Buttery (Greasy)! The cake was phenomenal, but the icing we couldn't eat much of, so just scooped the icing off my cupcake and ate the cake only1 Previous Review: Show all »

I'll admit, I'm a macaron snob. Moved to Toronto 18 months ago and I've yet to try the much-raved about B&B macs.
Had an old friend visit from Seattle this week and they were staying around the corner of the place so I figure what better place to take them for a light morning meal? Had a croissant, mango-peach nectar and macs of the following flavours - pistachio, black-currant, passion fruit.
The croissant was good; nice, light and fluffy. The nectar was great. The macs left something to be desired. Not enough filling, two of the six shells had hollows and there wasn't a distinguishable flavour in each of the macs. Mind you the last macs I had were from Bisoux-ciao in NYC and those blew EVERYTHING I've ever tasted away in terms of macarons. But for a place that gets as many raved reviews as Bobbette's, I was expecting a lot better in terms of taste and quality. -

I think I have found another reason to love Leslieville.
The cupcakes at Bobbette and Belle are highly addictive. Because they are so light and do not have that "oh so sugary taste", you feel like you can eat multiples, or if you are like me, you actually do. These are the cupcakes that you eat when you want dessert without the cavity. There are a few variations of vanilla and chocolate but hands down the best ones are the mango, raspberry and red velvet. They have macarons, hand made marshmallows and other sweets but I'm a cupcake kind of girl.
The shop has a girlie feel, quaint and elegant. While you wait in line you can admire the beautifully designed cakes that are on display. The details are amazing. -

My fiance and I went to Bobbette & Belle for our wedding cake on the recommendation of our wedding planner. We were not disappointed!
We met with Allyson and she was helpful and super friendly! As for the cakes... delicious! We had a tough time choosing from their selection of flavours, as there were so many good ones. Good thing we're having a number of tiers on our cake so we can get multiple flavours!
As for the look of their cakes, absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Its no wonder their cakes are often featured in WedLuxe magazine and wedding blogs. Oh, and pricing is quite reasonable for what you're getting.
Overall, we had a great experience tasting and choosing our cake, and now we're just looking forward to cutting it! -

Some of this city's best french bakeries don't do their macaron as authentically as you! Loved them all! Coffee was great too! Service was excellent and very friendly. On the day I visited, I was impressed to see that your clientele included what appeared to be a wealthy engaged couple (perusing your beautiful wedding cake selection) and a very weary mom with her days-old newborn infant who decided to venture out with her babe for a coffee and both were being attended to with equal care for customer service quality!

Bobbette and Belle makes my second fave cupcakes in the city. They have lots of interesting flavours, and the ingredients are top notch. However, unlike my favorite cupcake place, Dlish, which only does cupcakes, Bobbette and Belle are primarily wedding cake makers. When you make cupcakes out of wedding cake, you end up with a much denser, heavier cake! The frosting here is also heavier and thicker. All of this is not necessarily bad, just a matter of personal preference. I personally prefer a very light, crumbly soft crumb to my cupcakes, with a light, fluffy frosting. That said, Bobbette and Belle does make a very good cake, it's clear that their very skillful baking makes for an excellent, elegant result. Also, the bakery itself if gorrrrrgeous, such a lovely spot! So I definitely stop in whenever I'm in the area - they also make a lovely macaroon and lots of other beautiful, tasty treats!! Worth the trip!!
