I came here to close my account only to have them convince me whole heartedly to stay. They improved my services and made me feel valued as a customer with personal touches like maintaining contact through email. It feels like anytime I have a concern I can email them and can get results pretty instantly. They also gave me much better stuff on my account, beating out Scotia big time--who I had intended to stay with--making me choose BMO as my primary bank. I closed my Scotia account after that. They seem to really care here. What I find is no one really loves their bank so I didn't expect to. I thought it was about finding one you hated the least, but I've never felt so positively about a bank before! Weird but I actually like BMO and feel loyal to them because they're kind and surprise me with things like not charging me for stuff I thought I had to pay for. This is not only this location but the Queen & Yonge one too. Manulife BMO is a good branch but sometimes the lines can be long but they move pretty quickly it seems.

I joined BMO after leaving TD Canada Trust, I had endless frustrations with TD CT so I figured just about anywhere would be better.

BMO has its pros and cons. At first they placed some pretty strict holds on my account which I contested many times, finally the manager listened to my compiiants and agreed to lift the holds from my account.  It was good that they eventually conceeded but it was definitely a fight to get there.

I find thier fees fairly low and theres quite a few of thier ATMs sprinkled throughout the city.  I was afraid that when I left TD I'd have a hard time finding another bank that has multiple locations, but BMO has squelched that fear.

I have to say though that this location is the only one where I've gotten good service from the tellers, at other locations the service is bad to awful with the Bloor / Windermere location being the complete absolute worst.

Overall a good bank that is no-nonsense and to the point, and really when it comes to banking in my opinion the simpler is the better!
