As the name suggests, Blushing Boutique carries fun, feminine and flirty frocks. Lacy, decked with satin trimmings and some added flounce for good measure, part of me felt as though I'd walked into modern day Barbie's closet.
Most of the merchandise is made Shelley Klassen, the proprietor of Blushing Boutique. Her garments are designed and made in Vancouver, with material being locally sourced. While there's definitely a bit of a retro feel to most of her designs, almost a la Betty Boop, she doesn't strive to alienate her clientele by making them so that they only look good on those with model-esque proportions. Everything here is meant to add a bit of glamour and fun to the everyday woman's everyday wardrobe.
Klassen's designs comprise most of the store's merchandise but they also carry Nine West shoes and bags by Canadian company Be Bold. Surprise sales are often held so sign up for their mailing list to stay updated on what's going on in-store. -

The first time I had gone into the store I wasn't really acknowledged but the issue was kindly addressed afterwards so I do really appreciate that and I'm really pleased it was done in a very professional matter. There are some cute dresses in the shop ranging from $175 to $250.

Blushing Boutique carries very lovely women's fashions, produced behind the curtain in designer Shelley Klassen's Vancouver studio. Feminine, lush fabrics are used to create exceptionally cute tops, dresses and the very IN this season, suit. I just adore the design boutique concept, which really makes you feel that you are supporting your very local designers and truly wearing something unique! Check out this season's fabulous satin gowns, VERY pin-up and sexy!

This women's dress shop is what it sounds like: feminine, flirty and full of pretty offerings to fulfill the girly desires in every woman. The clothes are designed and made on site, so you know that you're supporting local business when you shop here. There are some items here that are more daily wear sort of things, but what this store is best for is special occasion attire, you know for when you have to go to a wedding or even be a bridesmaid. Careful attention is paid to such details as the use of lovely, luscious fabrics, and the result is a line of clothing that has something flattering for the pretty woman in everyone.
