Loved it, and will definitely be making repeat visits, temperature permitting. Loved the flavour, loved the toppings, and the price comparatively reasonable to other froyo places of the same kind. And unlike other froyo places of the same kind, the gentleman serving me filled the contained with the yogurt, rather than just serving it in that way where it looks full but is really hollow inside.

The one negative is that it was very melty very fast.

Oh, and I really liked the tacky astroturf. Then again, I am a big fan of tacky.

I spotted by this cute little frozen yogurt shop after some shopping on Queen Street.  The concept is neat, pick your frozen yogurt flavour and add as many toppings as you like.

I picked the blush blend which is infused with POM wonderful (pomegranate).  I topped off my frozen yogurt cup with fresh strawberries and almonds.  The frozen yogurt was a bit tart but it was refreshing.

When I paid my bill, I was surprised at the total.  I did not realized that it was not unlimited toppings, your first one is free, the rest you have to pay for!  They should have outlined that on the menu.

Check this place out if you are craving for some frozen yogurt!  They have astro-turf on their patio area.

I've been putting off going here for awhile, but my hankering for Pinkberry got too strong today and I decided to test this place out. From the menu and toppings, this place looks pretty similar to Pinkberry, but it ended up being a way less satisfying experience. Let me tell you why...

The fro-yo tasted like frozen yogurt, like the stuff you buy at the grocery store or if you put your yogurt in the freezer. It didn't have that lovely tang that Pinkberry does so well.

The cups are not wide enough. They serve it like its a soft serve cone, so you really can't mix your toppings in or put them on top - they just kind of stick to the side. NOT as fun of experience.

The outside seating area is a little weird. I felt odd sitting in a little fake grass complex, so I moved next door to the tables outside of Umbra.

Sooo, although it wasn't terrible, my mind certainly wasn't blown and you won't find me craving this shit anytime soon.

Alright, gotta go figure out how to bring the Pinkberry franchise to Toronto. TTYN!

Blushberry is yet another frozen yogurt joint located at Entertainment District. It could be a little tricky to find since it's around the corner from Queen Street but you will see the sandwich board that says blushberry as you pass by Starbucks.

Frozen Yogurt comes in Original, Blush, Cappuchino, Mango, Grapefruit, Coconut, Hazelnut, Chocolate and Pineapple flavor. They also serve Fresh Snow, which is basically a flavored shaved ice. It comes in so many different flavors! too bad I don't like them very much.

3 different sizes for Frozen Yogurt, Small is $3.50, Medium is $4.50 and Large is $5.50 (plus tax). Fruit Snow only comes in 1 size, Regular for $4.50.

All the toppings you can choose from- it says 'as many toppings as will comfortably fit in your cup for only $1'. I've never seen that system before, I guess it's a good thing if you are the type to get lots of toppings.

Blushberry can't get any girlier with their white and pink colored store sign and little patio. I thought the fake green grass for the patio looked sort of cheap but it has a cute overall layout. Once you walk in, there is this loud music playing and you wonder for a second if this is really a yogurt shop. There have a TV inside but no seats except one chair, which was being used by one of their employees.

One thing that really turned me off about Blushberry is that their toppings counter was DISGUSTING. The display window and the sides of toppings container was sticky with something and I could see several fruit flies all over their fruit toppings. I was thinking of getting some toppings since it was $1.00 for as much as you can fit....but I wasn't going to get them even if they were free after seeing fruit flies sitting all over the toppings.

As I was waiting to order, this girl that was working at the cashier was helping other customers before me. She seemed quite friendly but was very chatty with the costomer before me that left me standing there all awkwardly as I was waiting to order. I ended up getting small original frozen yogurt for $3.50 plus tax. I liked their frozen yogurt for the taste since it wasn't too dairy tasting, but it melts super fast which I didn't like. Also, their spoons are those regular plastic spoons thats served at food court places which was a little too big to be used for icecream.

Summary: I know I can't trust any restaurant for their cleanliness in the kitchen, but if I can see with my own eyes how dirty the place is, I am not going back no matter how good it is. I choose Menchies over Blushberry.

Ever since I heard that Blushberry is the closest dupe to Pinkberry from the states, I have wanted to go. I love the concept, SUPER modern, and PINK lawn chairs, and just so fresh. I love the bright white interior, contrasted with the pink logo. A month or so ago, my friends and I went to Menchie's (frozen yogurt place), and I loved it! We planned to go right after Menchie's, but it was closed for the winter, not impressive. My friend said that if it closed for the winter, it's not a true yogurt place. I have to agree.

I have to be fair. I went after dinner tonight, and it was 9:40, 20 minutes before closing, and if I were them, I'd be annoyed that people were coming in. It was just us. The store is smaller than Menchie's though. But, the gentleman who served me was very nice about it. He even packed the toppings on very gracefully. If some fell outside the yogurt cup, he'd top it with more.

Onto the actual yogurt. This is where the disappointment starts. I had the new coconut flavour yogurt with coconut flakes, mochi and lychee explosion! I love the lychee explosion, once you bite on it, it explodes in your mouth! Quoting my friend, the yogurt tasted like a health conscious yogurt and for dessert, I expect something more creamier. I just got into a recent Mochi phase, and.. by the end of it, I had him pack on the Mochi, and... I was not pleased. It tasted a bit hard, and not that appetizing. Granted, this place is cheaper than Menchie's. But you get all the toppings you want for $1. You can't really beat that.

It's okay. Probably won't be coming back soon though, because Menchie's is the best frozen yogurt place I have experienced thus far. I don't like how you can't pile on the yogurt and toppings yourself, like you can at Menchie's. I'd rather pay more for the do-it-yourself type of experience.

Super excited when I came here.  Unfortunately we came on one of the hottest days of the year on the day that Harry potter 7 part two was released.  We were trying to see if Matthew Lewis or Tom Felton stopped by E talk.

Stumbling in here with a teambuy voucher I was dismayed at the lack of professionalism.  I will echo what another yelper mentioned that there were fruit flies.  Unfortunately it can't be helped since you get that everywhere but it doesn't make it any better.

Service was meh, I didn't know that you could have unlimited toppings as the person behind the cash didn't mention it to me.

The yoghurt wasn't that great, I could have had better at Menchies.  Overall it is pricey and really not worth your while.  Go to Menchies or Yo-Yo's on Bloor St.

Surprised to see such positive reviews for this place- we got some pomegranate/original swirl yogurt, and it wasn't good at all. The original tasted pretty good, but the pomegranate tasted so artificial. The store is pretty tiny so either sit inside and be prepared to have people surrounding you, or sit on the flimsy plastic chairs on the astroturf outside.

I thought the prices were reasonable at first, until I realized that they charge extra for toppings.

Love frozen yogurt, but won't be in a hurry to come back here to get it.

The frozen yogurt had a very strong sour taste, which is different with the ones in the states. I find strawberry topping compensates for the sourness and goes very well with the original flavor. Blueberry on the other hand is not a very good combination.

The store is clean, cute, but pretty small. It would be nice if there are indoor seating.

There's some haterade flowing round these parts, but when it comes to Blushberry, I'm totally into it. Truth is I've been waiting for a Pinkberry knock-off to show up in Toronto, and things couldn't have gone more swimmingly when this spot showed up across the street from my work.

No joke, I had this schtuff for lunch 6 days last week. I can't wait for them to get their medium and large cups, cause I get a little peckish a couple hours after mowing down the small. Anyway, there are 4 yogurt flavours to choose from - regular, green tea, chocolate and blush (pomegranate blend I think). The regular is nice & tart and the chocolate tastes like fudgesicles, which = yesplease.

Lots of toppings to choose from, ranging from Cap'n Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, muesli and almonds to lots of fresh fruit, always in top form when I've gone. According to their Twitter, there will be some secret toppings available (ask for your yogurt "dirty" and they'll pull out some oreos for you).

The owners are friendly and eager to please, and it's a nice treat to sit outside on the astroturf, an odd but fun sight in downtown Toronto. Like I said... totally into it.

Decorated in the popular gay/Kubrickian motif, Blushberry is bringing the trendy SoCalFroYo fad downtown.  The innovative flavours and toppings are delightful; the servers even let us try samples.  Being boring, I stuck with plain yogurt and almonds.  I wish, I wish, I wish they had shaved or ground almonds, but it was still delicious.

Obligatory Title Pun:  This BERRY'll make you BLUSH.

Menu Readability:  Look for it in the least logical place to put a menu.  Oh, there it is!

Need to mention:  Astroturf lawn graces the patio out front.  Nice touch.

What this place teaches me about myself:  I prefer my nuts ground or chopped.  (Maybe that's a bit personal.)

Likely the first of many Blush Berries in town!  I might start eating here every day after work.  They have temporarily replaced the Pom flavour with Pumpkin Spice. It's a subtle flavour, with just a little Ginger in the back of your throat.  I think I like it, but after a taste, I opted for regular.
Toppings are very similar to PinkBerry in SoCal, but one thing I noticed that was new is the Pomegranate seeds.  And as Mochi is my all-time favorite topping, I got both.  Tastes just like the Pink Berry, Red Mango, Orange Pinapple, and Fuschia Pear chains around the world.  I'm a fan nonetheless.
Guess which of those are not real Fro-Yo places!?!?!
Now, off to review Blue Banana, the kick-ass store in Kensington...

Blushberry is modern looking frozen yogurt shop. The menu offers frozen yogurt toppings such as a variety of fruit, granola and cereals. The menu also offers a selection of smoothies. I kept it simple and tried the vanilla frozen yogurt with 2 fruit toppings (strawberry and kiwi), which you can't really go wrong with. I wish they had offered some candy toppings but I believe they try to market themselves as a health conscious chain.

Side note: I liked the modern design but I didn't understand the astroturf carpet out front.

After walking by during their construction phase, I was excited to see another Soft-serve style Frozen Yogurt place opening in Toronto. I have been a huge fan of this style of yogurt since I discovered Red Mango and Yogurtland in the US, and have been searching for something that can satisfy my froyo cravings back home.

I was very disappointed after my visit to Blushberry after reading such positive reviews by other 'elite' yelpers. I guess a free yogurt and t-shirt can buy you good reviews these days. The place is tiny, they barely have enough room for seating yet they still put in a few chairs and tables in their store, not really inviting.

They only had small containers, which is kind of stupid in my opinion; maybe instead of spending all their money on their fancy website and tacky AstroTurf patio they should of bought more containers of all sizes.

The toppings were also lacking in variety, and were out of some toppings like chocolate chips and this was 8pm on a Friday night! The fruits looked like they were either kept overnight or just in bad shape.

The yogurt was actually decent and taste exactly the same as Cefiore on bloor/walmer, I have no complaints there. I took a look at their 'smoothies' menu and was quickly turned off when I saw "Red Bull Smoothie". If I wanted Red Bull, I would just go to a convenience store instead of paying $8.

I'll give this place another chance If I ever walk by someday, since I know they are still new, but its really disappointing to see 'elite' yelpers are easily bribed.

    Place is great.

They've pretty much followed the korean-froyo-model to a T.   However instead of Pinkberry's Alessi design cues, here we have astroturf and glass.

The guys who work here are friendly and they're always quite generous with the amount of yogurt and toppings.

You'd think that if they were one block over and actually ON Queen that they'd have a constant lineup out the door.   As such they're still busy on hot days, and it's a relatively fast wait for delicious yogurt.

It could effectively be argued that coconuts fuel my life, and this is an excellent source of vitamin Coco.

Five stars in the summer.  One star in the winter.  An annual average.

They need more places like this in Toronto.

I was walking around with my friend and fellow yelper, Linda T., today after dinner.  I was craving something fruity, and she suggested that I go to Blushberry since we were just passing by.  I actually never noticed the little frogurt (yes, I call frozen yogurt = frogurt -- think Simpsons).

Anyhow, the customer service is AMAZING there.  The people ar every friendly and talkative.  We were joking around with them the minute we got inside.

Was slightly disappointed that they didn't have green tea frogurt - they said that they replaced it with green tea for  the summer season.  I ordered a small pomengranate wth lychee.  The pomengranate was a bit weird to take at first, but mixed in with the lychee later, it was delicious.

The price for the frogurt is a little bit too expensive for my liking ($5.03 for small frogurt + topping).  I've been to cheaper places for this kinda stuff uptown.

However, service was good, and it was nice to chill outside on the patio chatting with a friend.  May come back again.

I was brought here by the 2 for the price of 1 on Mama-san cookies that they had going on one of those Toronto deals websites (can't remember which).

The mama-san cookies are customizable cookies.  They have the cookie dough that they add 3 of your choice of toppings on them and bake them right there.  It's a very good concept, and their cookies are good but only when it's warm.  When it cools down the cookie is very hard and it has a bit of a bitter taste to it.  Don't get the moochi topping, it's pretty flavourless and has the consistency of melted caramel, really chewy and does not work well in the cookies.

The customer service at this place was spectacular, probably because one of the owners of the place works here.  He's very chatty and extremely friendly.  When I presented my coupon, he only had enough dough for 1 cookie and so he offered a free frozen yogurt!

As for the frozen yogurt, it is way over priced at over $5 a cup.  That being said, always go for the plain one, I am definitely not a fan of the flavoured ones.  The toppings go very well with the frozen yogurt and the fruits are all fresh, which is not something we can say about Yogen Fruz.

Compared to Yogen Fruz this place is amazing, and because of the over-the-top customer service, I'd pop in if I was in the area and feeling for a sweet treat!

There is something about the tangy, sweet taste of Blushberry, Toronto's version of the Los Angeles based Pinkberry that makes you crave it for weeks.

These days, the mere mention of the term froyo makes me think of Blushberry and salivate.

They have flavours that include original, green tea and chocolate and oh so many toppings, which include not only berries but also cookies and graham crackers. Yummmmm.

The fake grass outside their Queen Street location is great. Word on the street is that other locations, including Yorkdale and Eglinton will be opening soon.

    Blushberry is awesome.

    An indulgence without the guilt.

HORRIBLE! Do not waste your taste buds on Blush Berry!

They give you a way to small portion for the price you have to pay!

It also didn't have much flavour and the texture was a bit icy. It didn't taste like frozen yogurt!

If you're looking for a good frozen yogurt place try Yogen Fruz!

Basically Blush Berry sucks you in with it's appealing look and website.

Went here with fellow Yelper Kevin F today after brunch.  It was good but nothing to go out of your way for.  They have just a few flavours but a nice  assortment of toppings - fruit and berries, candy, or cereal-ish.  I had the original flavour with strawberries and blueberries.  It was all nicely tart and refreshing.  Be warned that you do pay for each topping that you add - expect to pay about $4 for a small with two toppings.

I have always been a diehard fan of frozen yogurt, especially when the mix-ins are completely customized by myself.

My first order at Blushberry was made just an hour ago. I had trouble locating this hidden gem since Starbucks was out front blocking my view. After I made a call explaining how I was desperately looking for them while sweating all over, the staff came out looking for me until we spotted each other! The people work there are really genuine. They have a little patio open now. It didn't seem busy at all while I was there. Some of the toppings were gone. But whatever choices were left seemed fresh and extremely nutritious. In addition to the fresh fruits, they had a variety of cereal and nuts. I ordered six different kinds of toppings with my large original froyo. It was absolutely delicious and refreshing! The sweetness and creaminess were just right, which is a sign that they didn't load up on the sugar and the fat.

My only wish is that they bring back the green tea yogurt base. They have replaced it with the mango base now. Maybe I'll give the mango froyo a try since I love fruits as much as I love tea.

Definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth yet strive to stay healthy!

I'm all about getting bang for your buck, and that is where Blush Berry falls out of my good graces. Not that my graces are anything to speak of, but as yogurt places go, I was far more enamoured with astro turf outside than the flavor options inside. Maybe as time progresses this shop will have a bit more to offer, I wonder however if they will make it through the winter. While the yogurt itself was very tasty (chocolate with strawberries) toppings are all extra, so my small yogurt went from $4.00 (more for chocolate) and another $0.95 for the table spoon of strawberries, after tax like $15.00 or $16.00 at least. (C'mon y'all know the taxes here are out of this world!) I did have fun with the staff and while wasting away an afternoon on Queen street, I might try another sampling. But I will probably not go out of my way for a blush this winter. Bottom line... love the astro turf, like the yogurt, let's see if they make it through the cold blustery Toronto winter.
