An unexpected gem. I drive through Hope several times a year and couldn't have dreamed for a better little cafe to spring up. Great food, easy atmosphere, wifi, and good prices.

I never would have expected such a great cafe in Hope.
Great lattes and the butternut squash soup was amazing!
We drive to Vancouver several times a year, and never felt a need to stop in Hope. We will be stopping every time now! -

I frequently pass through Hope as I commute between the Lower Mainland/ Vancouver and the Okanagan Valley. The strip of fast food joints along the Old Hope Princeton Highway diversion gets pretty old after a few passes. That's why I head to the Moose. Fresh baked goods, great made-on-premises soups and sandwiches, friendly service and the obvious steady support of locals gives the Moose great character and quality.
My favs are the scones and muffins. -

There be a great, cafe in Hope! I have been here many times and never had a bad coffee, of been disappointed in their soup of the day... I will make the trip just for their salmon chowder or curry coconut soup... Awesomeness.....!!!!!

This has become my new place to stop off for a snack when passing through to the OK Valley, especially after the demise of the place that pre-dated The River Cafe that had the good apple fritters and some not-so-stellar experiences at the current River Cafe. If I want a burger, I'll hit the fast-food strip on the diversion, if I want coffee and WI-Fi I go here. It's got pretty good atmosphere to hang out in- possibly the best Hope has to offer, but the place seems a bit cavernous at times. Usually there is plenty of seating, which is a good thing.
Often a big line-up, though- which is not such a good thing. -

I have stopped here a few times now but i think i will try out some new places next time. There sandwiches and quesadillas are good, but everything is pre made so sometimes it's a bit mushy. The soup is delicious. Coffee and Teas are great. They have free wifi, and lots of seats.

Very good espresso: it would be competitive in downtown Vancouver. Good paninis and baked goods. Good service.
Not the coziest space. It appears to be where locals go as well.
It's open till 9. I consistently stop here going and coming on the highway: but Hope has only one exit so don't miss it! -
Review from Karen R.
Fast service and very tasty food although the lineup to be served was a bit chaotic. My squash soup and veggie flatbread sandwich with cheese totally hit the spot. Yumm
