I have been taking my dogs and cats here for nearly 7 years now and highly recommend the Blue Cross Animal Hospital to anyone who wants excellent health care for their pets at a great price. Dr. Eagelsome & Dr. O'Meara are both amazing, compassionate, straightforward and friendly vets who seem to truly care about the animals they are treating. I always try to book my appointments with either of them because my dogs, who are normally very nervous around strangers, are completely at ease with both of them.

The staff at the front desk are also very friendly and great to deal with!

I am moving across the city very soon but will still be making the trip to the Blue Cross when ever my pets need veterinary care because I love this clinic so much.

I've been going to Blue Cross for years with my dogs even though it's out of the way for me. It's worth the drive. Dr.Tanney (sp?) was a life-saver. Literally. Now Dr.Eaglesome is our vet and she is absolutely wonderful. She is so compassionate and straightforward. Her honesty and integrity really stand out. My dogs drag me in the door to get to her and the rest of the staff, who are amazing.
I love these people and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs.

Friendly staff and fantastic vets. The vet calls you themselves to discuss the animals health and provide you with no hassle options with fair prices. They show they care snout your pet - highly recommended.

Dirty crowded place, I always felt rushed by the vets here.  There is no parking on site.  Never felt like my cat was loved by anyone here.  Always had to wait in the waiting room packed with weird people and their filthy dogs.  The prices are comparable to other vets clinics in the area.

History

Established in 1968

Blue Cross Animal Hospital has been at its current location on the Danforth since the nineteen thirties. Since 1968, the hospital has had only three owners. It has grown from a one man practice to a hospital with six veterinarians working full-time to provide up-to-date, affordable health care for your pet.

In the early days the veterinarians cared for all manner of animals including at one time a roller-skating chimpanzee. Today we deliver quality, compassionate, family-oriented care for dogs and cats.

From the first kitten or puppy visit to the time that we have to say good-bye, our vets and staff will make your pet's life as healthy as humanly possible.
