Review from Gary M.
This Blenz has big comfy chairs. The floors are a bit tattered and it feels a bit worn in a loving club house kind of way. . . It's cozy.
It's a great place to plug in, do some work, people watch or meet a friend for some joe. It's not an out of this world experience but it's comfy.
The coffee is good, the macha latte is quite good, the chai latte is sweet but very good.
KEY POINT: My guilty pleasure is the peanut butter banana chocolate protein smoothy. (hold the banana) I fool myself thinking it's healthy. I remember checking the nutritional info on this bad boy and it weighs in at over 800 calories, lol!
sometimes being in denial, tastes too good to stop.
ps just double checked the PBBC protein smoothy has 723 calories, minus 105 calories for the banana I refuse... hmmm 618 calories, just a tad more than a Big Mac®... nice! -

I am always a sucker for a convenient location, and I'm in this neighborhood quite a bit, but I consistently find the drinks at this Blenz are well-done and the staff are friendly, which I appreciate when I hurry over from the park across the street with little ones in tow and really *need* the caffeine-y goodness of whatever I'm craving at the moment. When I'm not encumbered, I luxuriate in the great big comfy chairs, and for some reason I think of Monty Python and giggle.

The decor could use updating. The coffee is delicious, we prefer the dark roast klondike blend. They also sell it ground to take home. Much better coffee than the other coffee chains in the area.

I hate the fact that you need to get a ticket for wireless usage. I'm from the states where Starbucks offers free WI-FI. Comprendes Canada? Free WIFI. Someone has to start the trend.
I do like the chai latte tho. Only reason you get three starz, BLENZ! -

How good does it get? I've been to my fair share of Blenz locations- and I think this one takes the first prize for best service and funnest atmosphere (without being too over crowded).
It's clean, the coffee tastes great and there's lots of comfy chairs and plugins. And the bathrooms are clean (which is important if you're planning on plugging in for awhile)
My only suggestions - pick a seat away from the door - they like to leave it open, even on a chilly Vancouver day. -

I only give this place 4 stars because the latte I had was great. The following dimensions were top-notch:
1. taste
2. aroma
3. coloring
4. decoration on top of the drink
5. body/viscosity
Ambiance was all right. Place had a bunch of locals relaxing and sitting down typical crowd for any coffee shop. -

Better than Starbucks, better train baristas, better decor. Wish they were in the US

Wow, Blenz has great tea. I had a tea latte here one afternoon and was not prepared for how strong it was. I felt wired the rest of the day. The quality was A+ and the drink served its purpose!

Really like the feel and location of this place...nice outside patio and good amount of space inside. The ice blended café mocha was delicious (especially on a hot day) and I liked the way they give out individual passwords to customers to use their WiFi.

This had the typical cafe vibe, but the drink I got was quite gross - the shaken matcha lemonada was a bit too bitter and a bit too sour. I expected something more refreshing. However, the service was quick and friendly, so that was a shame that their drinks fell so low. The place also boasts in having their manager chef win some award a few years in a row for making the best design in the latte foam.
