Review from Tanya J.
Whenever planning a trip up to Vancouver, Blenz Coffee is always near the top of my list of things to do. I prefer this Blenz location, being centrally located in an area where I spend a lot of my time when in Vancouver. Robson Street. Which translates to fantastic shopping.
The coffee is just sooo yummy.
My drink of choice is the milk chocolate mocha at Blenz which makes me ridiculously happy. I love that you have chocolate options such as dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate. I realize other coffee shops do this too but Blenz' chocolate is different. It's like velvet and delightfully smooth. Geez, I want a Blenz mocha just thinking about it...
Blenz, how I adore thee..Listed in: Coffee!

You would think that since this Blenz is in such a high traffic area, it would get some updating. Of course you can't do much about the size, but you can do something about the horrible decor...
Anyhow there is a patio great for people watching on warm days...there isn't much seating inside but there are always a couple of seats (or more available) if necessary. Last time I went there was a presumably homeless man counting his change right by the cashier.
Like every Blenz you need a code from the front to access wi-fi and, their drinks, especially the coffee, aren't very good.
But for a warm drink, on the run...pop in here, just be sure to not have high expectations. -

A quick caffeine fix in a trendy area. Totally forgettable.

Came here for some coffee goodness.
Today I decided to try some fruit smoothie they had going on. I forget what it was called. But it basically tasted EXACTLY like melted strawberry ice cream.
The outside of this location has a really nice large patio. I'm all about these things in the summer. If it gets too cold, you can also sit inside. Unfortunately there are not that many inside seats (probably a dozen at most, including the bench area) at all.
The staff were quick, and even delivered my drink with a smile. Yay! -

Do you know what sharts taste like?
Neither do I, but I'm pretty sure coffee at this Blenz comes close.
One additional star for the two hours of free wi-fi I am graciously allotted to write this shining review. -

The London Fog latte - made with earl grey - is a unique offering I haven't seen elsewhere. Typical coffee house atmosphere, but why not go here instead of sbux since it's Canada, eh? Ordered it extra hot, no foam; came lukewarm with foam. Has potential.
Free wi-fi, like in many places in Van. Heads up they don't take AmEx. -

I don't know Canadian coffee well but anyway, I ordered the caramel macchiato; they made a mistake and gave me a maple macchiato, which I ended up scoring for free and liking better than the caramel. Thank you for messing up.
Free wifi for 2 hours (only with a code you get at the counter). -

Mmm...Yerba Matte Latte. Forget how cheesy you sound ordering it.
And free wifi, you are my friend. -

This location is definitely sub par. It's in such a high traffic area, you would think that it would be more updated. But instead, it's pretty cramped, old and worn looking, and the staff don't seem to know what they're doing. I order a hot chocolate and got chocolate in cold milk. I made them re-steam it.
The bathrooms were out of toilet paper and soap. When told, they replaced the toilet paper, but the soap was still out, so I told them the second time and they couldn't find any soap in the store room. What the heck??? No soap on hand? What kind of management is that? That's gross... They did have soap at the sink behind the counter which they invited me to use "if I needed it" after using the bathroom.
I think the next time I'm in the market for a 24 hour cafe I'll check out another location or Waves.Listed in: Latte? Capuccino? Americano?…

The coffee is alright, the baked goods alright. It's kind of Canada's Starbucks... isn't it?

Review from Darvish B.
Blenz reminds me of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in California. The barista here can make a good white chocolate mocha. Drinks are a tad bit on the spendy side ($4.25 for a 12 oz) even compared to Starbucks. But a change of scenery is always good.
This location is right on Robson st., where you can sit and people watch. There are heat lamps above the outside seating area too. It's open 24 hours.

I actually went toa Blenz on Robson and Bute, which isn't listed on yelp. I like that they offer white, milk, or dark chocolate in a mocha. I had the dark chocolate mocha, which basically tasted like an excellent hot chocolate - I couldn't detect any espresso. Kind of silly, but worth trying, in my mind.

Ah, Blenz. Sort of a Vancouver area version of Starbucks. I was up here last week and jonesin' for a smoothie, so I hit up this location. Well. The "Fruitchilla" was not half chinchilla, which is good since I am a vegetarian. But it *was* like 75% sugar. Blecch. BC gave the world Nanaimo bars so maybe this shouldn't have been a shocker.

Review from David A.
I think I went here about four times in three days to get an idea of it. And it averaged out to alright. I had to get their matcha latte, since they use real matcha. They started charging $1 for an extra scoop of matcha, which is fair since that stuff's expensive, but made for an even hella more expensive drink. I tried their espresso drinks too, and ehh, they're alright. Not much different than Starbucks. The people that work here are usually nice.

On my first trip to Canada, and as an avid-coffee lover, I had to give this Blenz place a try as they seemed nearly as omnipresent as Starbucks is to Seattle. I had a cappuccino and the Canadians' attempt at an Americano. ;-P Both were just fine. I liked the different variety of tastes for sale if you wanted a snack. They had many flavors (in Canada, of course, that's "flavours") of marshmallows. I don't know why. I never thought of coffee and marshmallows as match made in heaven but what do I know? Them Canadians must love it.

I really like Blenz mostly because of the free internet. Also because they're open very late. Unlike Starbucks or other coffee shops, you can really sit in Blenz have one coffee and do some surfing on the net, no questions asked. The drinks are very innovative too. Their mochas, chocolates, and coffee-cakes are also very healthy and organic. They also have tea lattes which are used with tea bags and steam milk, but really give you a kick. Most of the Blenz have a dark wood interior, play good music and are run by what seems a younger studious crowd. It's also who goes there most of the time. Students, people on the net, and some older people that play chess.

The servers are nice, but the coffee is just okay. I was actually a bit disappointed because I hoped that it would taste better than Starbucks. But it didn't. However, free internet is great! That brings it up a notch over Starbucks when internet usage is needed.

Just the perfect spot for a tourist to sit down at outdoor table after walking around downtown, sip a cup and watch the people walking by.
Had the cafe mocha with dark chocolate and cream, really delicious. I found the staff to be friendly and didn't notice the 'worn' mentioned in another review. Would definetely have taken benefit of the free wi-fi if my phone didn't just break, again.
Clean toilet!
