First off, thank you Chelsea S who tipped me off to this incredible bakery.
The open concept, the rustic, yet contemporary, island where the baking happens, the plugs on the customer side of the counter (for wifi I assume) and the bottle of Schramm vodka poking up from behind the counter tells me that not only are these guys awesome at their jobs, but they enjoy a shot every now and then!
The sammies may have been a bit on the pricey side, but not unlike a cafe in Vancouver. Plus, they were really good and fresh. But my raspberry danish, that's where it was at. I don't know what I thought a danish was before, but this one has certainly set the standard for this pastry going forward.
Pretty decent americano too. I liked that they used a local roaster, Pemberton Valley Organic Coffee (I believe). It was nice to sit and watch the locals come and go... ah the country life! -

A really lovely little bakery with excellent hours (6AM-6PM).
Fresh pastries (the berry muffin was outstanding, and the almond pastry was super tasty, not over sweet and with a unique cakey chewiness) and I was drooling over the salted caramel truffles (it was 8 in the morning, so I held off).
My latte was quite a bit stronger than I like, even once I diluted it with more milk...but really, that's my problem, not the bakery's...I'm sure lots of others wouldn't find it over-strong. And it wasn't strong in the burnt-tasting way, so that's good...just in the....strong...way. My boyfriend liked his just fine :)
Clearly you can take my latte review with a grain of salt - it should be fairly obvious that I am not a coffee expert. The pastries rocked. -

They brew up a mean Cappuccino here.
The breads are excellent ( I recommend the Potato).
Sandwiches are really expensive at $7 a pop, but are very good, and most likely the best in town.
I wasn't a huge fan of the "famous cinnamon" buns. I require way more gooey-ness inside, and raisins help too. The icing is pretty damn good though.
Five stars because this is as good as it gets along this stretch of Highway 99. -

Friendly service with a smile. Excellent food and coffee. Stop every morning for my cup-o-coffee and have never had a bad cup. Bread, buns and goodies are all amazing. A lot of local restaurants are now featuring their buns as well.

This place is new to Pemberton.
The bakery is open plan so you can enjoy your coffee while watching the action in the kitchen.
Everything is fresh, homemade. A favorite spot among the locals.
The people who work here seem to genuinely like their job and are really good at it.
+ reasonable prices
