This is THE #1 B&B around! I've been to a few B&B's and never had I felt more comfortable and relaxed. The owners had thought of everything, very detailed and extra ammenities that I didn't expect like TV, a great DVD selection, hottub, freshly baked cookies daily, etc. It felt like we were at a friend's home. My husband and I had such a wonderful time, not only on Salt Spring Island but at this particular B&B. We highly recommend it!!!

Charm and service abound! Traditional B&B on private country acreage with ponds, gardens and views. Four generous rooms suit every budget. Hot tub, wireless, TV/DVD/Cable, and healthy home-cooked breakfast too.
History
Established in 2010
Jason and John, owners of Blackberry Glen B&B, decided a few years back to quit "corporate America" and leave their long time home of Los Angeles to pursue a different dream. They decided to move to British Columbia looking for the perfect place to start a new life. They travelled from the Okanagan to Sooke and then to the Gulf Islands. They were looking for an interesting and progressive community that was small enough to be intimate but active enough to be stimulating. They found their home on Salt Spring.
Jason and John were attracted to the Island's unique open-minded history and progressive contemporary values. The vibrant artistic community enamored them as well as the forward thinking values and audacious friendliness.
So John and Jason sold their house in LA and bought the house they would transform into Blackberry Glen. Jason was a mortgage broker so when the recession hit in the US he had lots of time to come to the island and work on the house. It's a dream come true!
